Looking good after a week. I'm going to keep her under the light for another week just to see how it goes. I have no experience with this strain. It's another one from ILGM. I've ordered from them several times now over the past couple years and their seeds have always done well for me.
It's interesting to see the difference in the leaf structure between this plant that's supposed to be sativa leaning and the afghan. We'll see if the warm temps kick her into high gear. I am expecting about a 4 week veg period for this strain.
She's starting to get cranking. Noticing new growth by the day. It's been really hot the past few days and she's responding well. Gave her a little bit of nutes this week and I may try giving a light weekly feeding to see how she does.
She really hit her stride this week. Got some branches developing at the lower nodes so hopefully she will start to bush out a bit before she starts to flower. I expect that pistils will show up pretty soon since it's been about a month now.
After almost a month outside she's really going strong. Even starting to smell a little like skunk butt. Hit her with a little bit of the kelp juice again this week. It's hard to see in the picture but the little white hairs have started showing up at the bud sites.
She really hit her stride this week. Grew about 6-7" and branching out nicely. Shaping into a nice looking little plant with lots of bud sites developing and giving off a nice sweet skunky aroma. Can't wait to see how she fills out.
Not much change this week. Lots of bud sites forming but they haven't started putting on weight yet. Trimmed off some of the lower fan leaves. I'm thinking this plant is going to be about a 10 week flower.
Not a lot of change for this week. Buds are starting to fill out a bit more and some crystals are forming on the bigger buds. Smell is not as strong as I would expect at this point.
She started to fill out a bit more this week. Hasn't been a lot of resin development yet and the smell is not as strong as I would like for being 3-4 weeks into flower.
About 4 weeks into flower now and she's coming along nicely. Gave her a little bit of nitrogen this week. Starting to ripen up and the resin development picked up.
She started shedding a lot of leaves this week. Most of them turned yellow and fell off on their own. Crystal development is starting to pick up. Looks like she's getting close to the finish line now and I may do one more feeding this week.
The plant grew very easily. Nice and even throughout the life span. It wasn't as big as it may have been made out to be, but I don't grow for quantity and don't expect a lot of weight from auto's.
She was just telling me that she was done. She had shed pretty much all of her leaves on her own and with the weather getting really hot, I decided to take her down. This was probably the first time I've had a cannabis plant asking me to put it out of it's misery. 70 days total from planting to chop was the fastest I've ever had. Not a lot of weight at the end but she sure was pretty.
She has shed pretty much all her leaves and I think it's about time to chop. I'm going to give it another day or two to be safe. The smell is not very strong, but it's a lovely skunky smell.
