Goddamn slug ate one of my plants. I live in the bay area and just leave these out and there has been a ton of rain this year. It enabled a slug to crawl up the little bastard and kill one of my GMO‘s. But I have another guy ready to roll another lemon grass sprouted thankfully as I want five to start with an auto flower.
I think my GMO is stunted. It is the first one in the picture. The two that are biggest star fruit by the foot followed by lemon grass. I just started my normal feminized seeds as well.
So two of the auto flowers, one GMO from Atlas seeds, one lemon grass from Humboldt, have stunted growth. I believe it is from the cold April, and the fact that these are auto flowers and are finicky. I have never grown auto flower before but now that I have, I think that they can be tricky, perhaps outdoor for auto flower is not the best
In the photo, you can see the lemon grass in the front with the two fruit by the foot in the back. The fruit by the foot is a monster. I highly recommend it as it is proving to be a good producer.
So the fruit by the foot are looking great they grow so damn well, I am going to be happy. However, the sun did not appear this spring in northern California, so my yield will not be that great I think in the future I will begin by autos in late May.
Now that the sun is here in late May the plants are really starting to blossom. It occurs to me that my auto flower season must begin a bit later than March however, what I have here are really beautiful plants that will produce some great stuff, but I am guessing it’s going to be around One and a half ounces per plant. Regardless, I am starting my normal feminized seeds now, and they will be a gigantic, September, so this was my plan all along.
Last week before harvest. I love both of these varieties. Fruit by the foot is starting to give some really nice smell and structure along with nice purple hues. Lemon grass is really perky and definitely will produce some nice nugs.
I have already chopped down one of my fruit by the foot perhaps a couple of days early just so I can have some pot. It smells great both the fruit by the foot, which has some great purple hues and the lemon brass, which really does smell like lemonade super stoked. I really enjoy growing out door and I feel like it’s a little stronger.
Because I started this outside in March it didn’t do really well in terms of size, but the smoke and flavor is just right. This is my only picture this is my personal stuff and I am stoked.
