Week 5 has been pure torture for the plants, they suffered from nitrogen toxicity and PH issues, which this grow community helped me discover. I flushed the Pineapple Chunk & the biggest Wedding Cake Plant, the newer growth is already noticably lighter compared to the ones i didn't flush. Now the 2 flushed ones suffer a bit from too much moisture but it's already getting better. The soil is a bit compacted from the flushing which i'm trying to solve too. My first indoor grow might be torture for the plants, but nothing than learning lessons for me which is atleast something. I'll wait for 2-3 Days to see if the 2 non flushed plants are getting better by themselves or if i might replace some of the soil which i don't really want to avoid damaging the roots. They all have plenty of time to recover and i hope they do. In case i have to toss outr 1 or 2 which will hopefully not be the case, there is atleast more space for the healtier ones. Edit: Installed the Trellis and realized the spacing is too wide, the new one will arrive tomorrow. Since the plants are pretty bushy anyway i'll just use it to eficiently use the 60 x 90cm space. They'll grow into the scrog net soon, the bigger Wedding cake plant already has a bit of advantages from it but the new net with tighter spacing will be more eficient. The girls are kinda recovering but the 2 flushed ones show slight nutrient deficiency, one more than the other one. I Had to wait to feed them because they had to dry out first and recover from the flush, learning more and more. The lighting is at 500 ppfd, trying to not burn the Guerilla Seedlings that are chilling here for 2 more weeks atleast but they should be fine at the sides of the closet and will probably soon be more covered by leaves at the top. 😎 The Girls still have atleast 2-3 weeks to recover still before i send them into flower, we'll see how they turn out but even the 2 non flushed ones recover slowly from the nitrogen toxicity.

My stunted plant is recovering i guess, looking better than a week ago and is growing bigger slowly, but the problem has to be identified so i don't make that mistake again. The leaves look as stated, light burn looks alike but i'm not sure since the other 3 had the same distance

It's probably just the genetic lottery. If its treated the same as the rest, in the same condition, no reason to think otherwise. If they were all the same it would be boring 😉. I had a retarded purple kush that was tiny, the ounce she did give me was a really strong sherbert

Is it fine to cut off some of the big fan leaves this early or should i just tie them down to expose the tops to more light? If defoliation is fine already please let me know which leaves can be cut off, and if not i also kindly take advices on tying them down. Thanks!

Hello Blaze, Being the size that they are and how short they are, I would suggest using LST with some clips to not necessarily expose the inner working to light, but to jolt them into action. However, they are very uniform, and very compact it may behoove you to let them grow naturally for the time being until a dominate branch tries to assert itself. When it does appear, you can top and try to create a manifold, LST to limit the amount of stress and recovery time, or a combination of the two. For instance, in my current grow I am in transition from veg to flower and using a SCROG net. To maintain a semi even canopy I use LST or even clips to bend the branches about 90 degrees and remove once the stretch is over. Whatever you do use clean tools and consider how hard the material is you are using during LST. Many a time I have partaken of my own fruits and tied down a branch, only to find it a week later super cropped and growing around the string. Finally, if doing LST and moving your ladies in and out of your tent to possibly feed etc. be careful of your tie downs and how taught the line is, again from experience I've broken multiple cola's by unintentionally judo chopping the line while moving a pot. Id suggest possibly yarn, with a slip knot in a bright color so it's hard to miss, and never bend a branch that doesn't want to be bent. Over the course of a night or a day it may super crop itself before growth stops. I hope this helps!

I know it's probably nothing to worry about since this is my by far best growing plant right now, but it doesn't really look like a mutation, more like damage or something. This is the only leaf i encountered, just wanted to check if anybody knopws what it is, hopefully no pest.

Looks like something was chewing on it. You are on the verge of nitrogen toxicity BTW. If you don't want the grow to go south on you soon ease up on nitrogen. Good luck. 🌱

Would like some opinions on wheter or not to chop yet, to me they look ready and i wouldn't go for many amber trichomes sinces it's a indica dominant strain already anyway, taking pictures of the trichomes has been hard but i hope it still gives some details. Week 10 Day 1 Flower

Well, the trichomes on the leaves are like 90% amber, but i know only calyxes matter so that's not the best indicator anyway. I didn't manage to get a good photo of the buds that had a few amber ones but it was not even like 5%. I'm leaving for the weekend so i wait until sunday atleast, but maybe another week is also fine, i will listen to your guys suggestions

Indica chopped to soon becomes like Whizz as I discovered with my gorilla cookies. Wished I'd left it another week, ten days. It was so very pungent I cut it when it was milky.
