I basically just chucked a smoothie seed in a little soil that came with a chilli pepper growing kit into one of them paper pots so that I can just bury it in my AutoPot xl system I’m going to pop in.
It’s not happy at the moment because it’s been in HORRIBLE conditions - just behind my TV on the windowsill but behind my Venetian blinds so it was getting hardly any light at all.
In a couple of days it should have perked up - I’m being slightly restrictive with regards water as iv always found it better to under water rather than over water at this stage of growth.
So I better explain my absence…had a scare. Had a flat inspection and they smelled my vaped cannabis that I’m prescribed and assumed I was growing because it doesn’t smell like smoked cannabis.
Here in the UK you have to vape your prescribed cannabis - fine by me as that was already my consumption method - especially now we have ball vapes.
Anyway I had to shut down and majorly downsize for the moment until I can move.
This will probably be a sporadic grow and then I’ll take it down for a while…we’ll see, I may now even get there. It takes 70 days iv had almost a week of that but I seem to remember smoothie taking an extra week but that was under much more powerful conditions.
I think 150w is okay for one plant though - much better than just the 100 light they do. J could probably squeeze in both but that’s a bit overkill and the dimmer in the one they gave me broke almost straight away. It’s just the actual knob that broke so it’s either dimmed at a set level or full power.
Still it was REALLY Nice of them to sponsor me with this light and I just want to thank them and say sorry - UK laws are tricky and it makes it much more scary when you have a record.
Still, I am prescribed cannabis - I don’t see why I can’t grow cannabis. I’d be interested to see what the jury would say…
@mcflow,thanks bro, iv done a lot in the past so should be fiiiine. Shout out to Mars Hydro who gave me this fre ts-1000 to test and FastBuds as always for the genes.
