I don't understand why the base of the stem is so skinny? one of the plants died because of this. the wind broke it. made copper support, added mulch

Unfortunately, my hopes that the plants will be able to live on the street all time did not materialise. The weather in North Calfiornia this year is rainy and cold. I have to bring the pots into the house every evening to save them from the cold. The sun doesn't shine all day. I even made a greenhouse from the shits and sticks for them.

The crop was infested with spider mites. I had to put all the buds in a 60 degree oven. Ticks died, trichomes were not affected.
