I was excited to get going on my first grow. 4 plants showing the closest 2 are the tropicana cookies. I had 2 forbidden runtz in too. I am going to do a Seperate diary as I things changed and I only ended up with one left (got a mutants) so decided to try my hand at training the remaining runtz plant. Within 2 days my seeds came out of paper towel then into jiffy pellets. On the 5th day they were ready to go in final 3 gallon pots.
They really started to get going fast but I mostly left them alone and didn’t do much apart from a small amount of water every couple of days. Each day I made sure to cover a slightly larger surface area on top of the soil to give enough that the roots could expand into there forever soil. I am aiming to only use rain water providing I can collect enough to get me through the whole grow.

This week has been great. Really exciting to watch them go for it really quickly. Began some LST just lightly guiding the lower “branches” (hardly call then that at this point) out from under the shade of leaves and encouraging them to stretch.
I’m on a budget and have bought the minimum for now so I have struggled this week keeping humidity down as I’m get to fit extraction in the tent. This means I’m trying to improvise with other ways of bringing it down for now until around week 5. So far it’s fine except on a night it’s climbing towards 90% I’m worried but can’t do much about it except control it during the day time.
