Hi there, it has been a while since I last wrote something, so here some information:
As the spring progressed and temperature and sunshine increased, the plant developed faster and prospered. It was outside since the start of April, with cool days around 10°C and warm days up to 20°C as well as two nights with light frosts at exposed sites, but I placed it next to a wall those critical nights.
I did no training anymore since the beginning of flowering, because I did not want to tie it to the ground in this rainy spring, as the flowers have progressed its development quite a bit. However, as the spring season is cooler then summer and my plant never received much more than 20°C, I guess it still takes some weeks till harvest time. But all good things take a while, the buds are still growing bigger and I begin to see how heavily the ~20 main kolas got loaded with flower buds, with some leaves already putting some frost on. As I placed my Hulkberry heightened on a roof, I decided to not tie the branches further downwards, because it looks like even the inside is still getting some light, as the sun comes from a different angle and a different direction throughout the day. I guess, some inner buds would develop into bigger ones if I did, but not that many. I'll keep documenting, greets
Hi there,
this is my first time growing Hulkberry Auto from RQS and apart from one outdoor summer grow 10 years ago, it is my second growing season. I have started this seed at 07/02/2023 indoors, intending to veg it into a big plant and then getting it used to outdoor conditions while flowering, so the plant has plenty of leaf surface area to catch the strong spring sun.
I did top it at the 3rd node and formed a cross shape with the 4 emerging side branches. I chose a relatively wide pot so I could fix the upward growth into a horizontal position.
