Very close to harvest now.
~80% of the trichomes are cloudy.
~70% of the pistils are brown and turned in.
I started flushing 5 days ago with tap water and some of the main fan leaves are now yellowing.
Earlier last week there was evidence of new growth at very the top of the main cola which spawned some new pistils. I put this down to light stress so I moved the light further away.
I also changed the light schedule to 12/12 due mainly to the high temperatures we are experiencing at the moment, pushing temps in the tent to just over 30°C and the fact that my electricity bills over the last two months have been huge so I am happy to reduce that.
It is a case of hurry up and wait now.
Now that she is at peak maturity I've noticed that the smell is there but low key. I think I would be ok with growing this strain outside in a small pot in a garden or in a greenhouse with some odorous companion plants around and not worry too much about it not being stealthy. Obviously this is only a problem if you live in prohibitionland like I do.
Looking good pal! Just been catching up on U.K. 420 and see you said you had a diary on the go over hear. My next grow is RQS Apollo F1. I will follow along ✌️
Loving the great notes - keep it up!
If you have been reasonable with the feeding, then you can just gradually reduce the nutrient strength. I just switched to the Pour-Through method for monitoring feeding. Result? I was absolutely overfeeding and have been flushing like crazy.
@NegotiatedBubble, Thanks. I was tapering off the nutrients gradually but the plant is way ahead of me and changing so quickly that I started flushing proper today.
95cm!!! I have come to this to try to get some idea what to expect from my current run. All 6 have exceeded 70cm one has exceeded 1m and they are 28 days old.
