First time using rock wool to germinate. Went exactly the same as previous paper towel attempts. Deep water culture with recirculating reservoir set up. A bit concerned about the net pot size but neighbour who advised me on the setup seems to think it’ll be sufficient. pH set to 6.25 and germinated seed now in situ. Checked that rock wool stayed damp overnight. Monitoring temperature and humidity via home made Wi-Fi sensor linked to home assistant. Will use this later in the grow to automate temperature / humidity / fan operation etc.
