BostonGirlGrows Just getting these seeds wet today. Planning on moving them to solo cups to see if germination is successful before up-potting each one to a 1.5 liter pot for a bit. Still unsure if all three will make it. The seeds arrived fine, but noticed today 2 of the 3 seeds are not looking so hot. Either cracked, of oddly misshapen and cracked. Here’s hoping that one seeds at least does something.
4/21 Seeds moved from glass of water to solo cups. Happy frog with a bit of extra perlite.

BostonGirlGrows I’m incredibly impressed with the smaller plants will to live. Last week I was .98% sure she’d be a goner. But she seems to be back on track.

BostonGirlGrows Elevated them up a bit, since they are in with some finishing autos. Accidentally knocked over the runt one morning- she seems ok- but now I gotta get in there and clean it real good before I continue. Otherwise they are looking fine. The beginning is always so slow. Things normally get more exciting around week 4/5.

BostonGirlGrows These beauties are chugging along. They received a topping just two days ago, and are already showing signs of bouncing back. My small tent will be ready in about 2/3 days, at which point I will up- pot them into some 3 gallon grow bags.

BostonGirlGrows These girls were pretty root bound with I transferred them to their bigger pots. Hoping that’s all that’s going on and causing some rusty spot in one of their leaves. They definitely seemed to take off in height, so hopefully they’ll stretch their roots out a bit and clear up. Increased feed amount. Still a bit behind. Got a few more weeks (2-3) before they flip

BostonGirlGrows What a difference a week can make! They are really happy in the fabric pots, and I haven’t seen any additional rusting on leaves. Going to give these girls one more week of feeding and bending before sending them into flower. This should easily get to harvest before the end of the contest. 🌱 👊🏻

BostonGirlGrows These girls are enjoying the last day of veg. Tomorrow I will re-program my timer and set these two into flower.
I’ve noticed one plant ( on the left, best germinator) is a bit heat sensitive. Not full blown tacoing, but definitely a noticeable curl. And on the other plant ( on the right, cracked seed, slow to germ) has a ton of lowers that are really going for it.
It will be interesting to see what final form they will take. 🌱 👊🏻

BostonGirlGrows These ladies are getting big- quick. They’ve officially had a full week of flower and I’m following the weekly feed suggestions by GHE.
I moved them into my larger tent because it became quite obvious they needed more space.
I didn’t a final round of bending, and gave them a nice deep watering today to help them acclimate to their new home.
Hoping they flower quickly so I can get a full seed to harvest diary going under my fancy new light 💡

BostonGirlGrows They are two weeks into flower and I just beginning to see some white pistols. Really looking forward to seeing what stretch is going to look like.
Currently running my new Medic Grow Fold-6 in my 4x4. Planning on starting a seed to harvest grow under it once these ladies finish.

BostonGirlGrows Week 3 of flower done. Took the girls out of the tent yesterday for a good look over. And the one on the right is tossing pollen sacks. Tons. I’ve had a plant where I find less than a dozen. But yesterday I picked off 70, and another 20 or so today.
Since I’ve only got the two plants I’m just going to try to do my best to continue picking off what I can. Maybe 10 mins or so worth daily. And we’ll see what we end up with. I should have know she’d be a problem, since her seed was cracked when I received it, and she was so stunted in the beginning. But she grew larger and stronger so I held out hope.

BostonGirlGrows Things are chugging along. I think I’ve picked an additional 70+ pollen sacks off the taller of the two plants. Probably in the 200 range in total. Not really seeing more grow tho. Now she’s got frosty calyxes where the balls had once been. She’s got a few bananas, but I’m not stressing.
Keeping things consistent and hoping these girls turn out beastly. They seem to be liking the medic grow fold-6, which I’m still running at 40% power.

BostonGirlGrows Plants are doing well. They survived me being on vacation for 5 days. Definitely looked sad and droopy- but bounced back within hours of watering.
With about 3 weeks left I decided to increase the dimmer on my medic grow fold-6. She’s up to 60% now. Also introduced some flower stacker- I’ll eventually find the sweet spot.

BostonGirlGrows Happily chunking up. Still think I’ve got a few more weeks. Really looking forward to getting these girls hung so I can start a round of Autos under the new fold-6.
Both plants are starting to show a bit of color, and are as sticky as honey if touched.
Still spotting a few bananas on the big girl. Only from the underside of a few lower buds, nothing on the colas thought

BostonGirlGrows Just gave them their last feeding of nutrients. It’s almost harvest time so I’ll be dropping additives and just giving them ph’ed water until I’ll ready to chop’em.
I’d assume another week- and 3-4 water only feedings before giving them a bit of darkness.
The smaller plant is chunking up a bit more this week, and the larger of the two has gotten some serious color. She’s almost completely purple on her tops and faded out leaves below. Still seeing some open sack/banana flowers. But hey. She’s pretty 😍 plant
Beautiful biscotti buds with a touch of purple. Sticky and covered in crystals. A few bumps along the way but we made it to harvest with plenty more then expected to show for the hard work. 🌱 👊🏻

BostonGirlGrows Trimmed off all fan leaves with visible stems and hung to dry. Buds are heavy even after the trim.
@Manitoba_Medical, It’s been pretty easy. Roughy start for one plant since the seeds I received were mostly cracked. The shorter one has been smooth sailing. The taller one has 200+ pollen sacks- which I’ve tried my best to keep up with. She’s budding up nice now- but she’s tossing bananas on the underside. Really taking my chances- but I think she’s gonna be too delicious to cull.
They look amazing, the fade colors are beautiful, and I bet the smells and terps are overwhelming, - I have been looking at that flower stacker as well, nice to see you using it with success! Looking forward to the rest of the harvest report once the buds are dried, I also am about to harvest 3 plants, I may just feature the harvest report here :)~ Take care BGG!
