First Time DWC Hydro Blue Dream Nirvana

Seedler so i hope the root is long enough, i will dip the netpot in the water like 3 times a day to keep it moist so the tap root can grow as fast as possible. There is more than enough room so the netpot won't get too wet but the root would get spalshed on and can grow down with still enoug hroom to breath so it's not slowed down. im exited and i will try my best to get the most out of it! thanks for reeding. 27.04.2023 the Plant is growing so slowly, i can't recommend growing it directly into the claypebbles. every soil grow i did so far grew a lot quicker than this. but thats my own fault. don't make my mistake, grow it in soil for the first few weeks until it got some roots and then transplant that bitch and watch explosive growth. or better, get a clone!

Seedler 01.05.2023 Day 13 root finally hitting the water and suddenly the plant is growing RAPIDLY! Water temps are getting too high, 23° Day15: Plant and root are growing rapidly the moment the root hits the water for the first time. i gave them some nutes. just 2,5ml of hydro a&b for the whole 12l bucket. ec rised to 0,77 or 387ppm im rerally careful with nutes, i really have no clue, how much to put in but i guess i'll figure it out sooner or later watching the plant.

Seedler Well i ran into some problems, water temps too high over the weekend (i wasn't there) but roots and plant still looked healthy despise 24,5°C water temp over 2 days. I added 2,5ml each Hydro A & B on day 15. EC rised to 0,89 / PPM 445 and two days later ppm still the same i guess because the only part of the root touching the water couldn't uptake any nutes because of the high water temp? (everything above the water looks healthy af tho) Since my apartment is usually really hot in the summer i bought a TEC peltier water cooler + pump and a thermo regulator to ensure the water temps will stay between 20 and 21°C. i just need to wire that up and diy saved me me a lot of money. i payed about 100€ and have automatic temperature control and a cooler from amazon about 200+ € so i think its fine. I'll show you the set up once it's completed and works. Its the best budget cooling i could get my hands on imo. Today is Day 19 my parts came and i really managed it to half ass wire shit and not burning down something. wish me luck. I payed a total of 93,22€ and now got a really quiet, 150w DIY Peltier/TEC) cooler that automatically turns on once the water temp hits 21°C (69,8F) and stops when hitting 20°C. So far its working REALLY well. like im amazed and so proud i managed to do that and it was pretty easy. i had big problems with temps in my attic flat and water temps quickly rising to 24° and more which means root rot. Since i use the cooler all new roots just looking healthy as fuck. the plant is growing well and i see every day progress. So i saved a shit ton of money. the cheapest water cooler i could find on amazon was around 350+€. Sure it bet it works better, is safer to touch, not very likely to cause burning down my house because i had to twist copper wires together and let 230V run trough it BUT no way i have that much money for things like that. The cooler cools water temps from 21,5° to 20° in about 15minutes. the longer it runs the better it cools. i bought a temperature controller outlet ( 25€) which let me set 2 temps and it turning the cooler on and off. I had to cool it down manually every 2 hours before with frozen water bottles💀 So here are the stats for day 19: Water Temps: 20-21°C / pH: 5.42 / PPM: 485 / EC: 0.96 / height: 2,5cm (lol) (i added some more Hydro A and B because i thought i maybe see some nitrogen deficiency) i bet i will see some RAPID growth now since everything is dialed in, hopefully lol 150g im coming!

Seedler well. starting in hydro is slow af BUT: once everything is dialed in and the roots can hit the water growth is EXPLODING. look at all those super fucking healthy strong roots! (even tho they look a bit dark on the pictures, they are 100% white and super healthy. So the ~100€ DIY Water cooler really worked well. much better than i expected. water is constantly in the range of 19-20°C air temperature is max 30°C but mostly 27-29,5°C and humidity is 60-75% and thats just perfect. Water holds most oxygen at 20°C most photosynthesis efficiency at 30°C BUT humidity needs to be a bit higher so the VPD is right. on 30°C i need 80-85% humidity for perfect vpd and i thinks thats managable. plant looks wonderful anyway. more updates in some days, cheers.

Seedler yoooo! so i tried fimming and then topped a week later and it actually created 3 tops with 3 more tops really close to the main tops. i did fuck up and forgot to turn on the bubbler for about 2h and some of the roots died because of that but the plant is growing FAST. like 2cm a day

Seedler what can i say, its quite a no-brainer at this point. Water gets cooled automatically i just need to check ph ever 2 - 3 days and top her off with some water and maybe nutes so im around EC of 1. Roots still recovering from me forgetting to turn on the airstone. lol i was away for 3 days, came back and was SHOCKED how big she got. but i spottet a deficiency i have to investigate. Probably magnesium deficiency. grew in 5 days about 8cm in height and packet a lot plant mass on. tomorrow (week 7) she gets new, fresh water ph 5.5, EC ~1.5

Seedler Well, i had some root problems, i don't know exactly why tho maybe i filled the water too high so i got some root rot again but tbf for my first hydro grow ever i think its pretty fine. i will rather overveg the plant so she may needs some more weeks. i want the 150grams

Seedler i bought TNT BactorrS13 so it would help my roots getting healthier because i still got root rot besides no light leakage, constant water temps of 19-20°C, it darkens the water A LOT but i read a lot of goof stuff about those bacteria. Yes, its not THAT good in hydroponics because a lot of them are supposed to be in earth. i saw a lot about hydroguard - about how bad the company is - but how good the product itself is. But that SHIT IS EXPENSIVE. and almost not available here in germany. so i made some reseach and found out it's the bacillus amyloliquefaciens that's so good and what helps prevent root rot or other pathogen bacteria to grow because it outgrows them and the TNC is so much cheaper shit im way too high rn lol

Seedler never had a plant taking so long going into flower but i also never had THAT big of a plant. compared to my other plants i had its 5 times the size haha. i have to admit im getting kinda lazy the last time i emptied the water and cleaned everything was weeks ago lmao. i think i will give her a lot of nutes (like EC over 2) for the next few weeks and then slowly giving her less and less sorry for the low quality pictures but like i said i got lazy because the site didn't let me upload pictures for like 2 weeks and i got an error everytime and then i stopped taking that much pictures but i will start with the really good quality shit (like on my other posts) once they have some buds there is NO purple color so far wich is a bit concerning knowing the last time it got purple quite fast, maybe its because its so damn hot rn and night is still about 24-26°C

Seedler so its really fucking hot, and every day is at least 30°C if i had bought and set up that water cooler my plant would be dead. at this point im kinda scared it has too many tops and wont produce much and just get a lot of popcorn but idk, i tried to scrog it as good as i can and i hope for the best. i saw other diary's where similar with 12 weeks flower but BIG harvest, i hope for something like that, 150g would be pretty nice. it gets a bout 750 PPFD on the sides increasing to 900 in the middle, i have to dimmer so i have to deal with that. it gets burned tips but i think thats just the heat stress, i'll check regularly the temperature of the leafs and its always cooler than the air it selves so maybe nutrient burn? Well i will see it in a few days, i can't say for certain yet. So the higher quality photos start now i hope i can get some nice shots out of this strain. No purple yet 💀

Seedler So new week, the bubbler turned off for maaybe one or two days lucky i found it today. so far its good i guess but i hope the buds get MUCH bigger, otherwise it would be a pretty low harvest for so much time. I hope the plant needs like 10-12weeks in flower so it will get more mass. nothing too crazy, drinks a lot of water, not that much nutes rn EC is stuck on 1.8 EC to 1.6 EC the past few days

Seedler MY WATER CHILLER STOPPED WORKING SO NOW I HAVE MORE OR LESS A BROWN SLIME DOWN IN THE POT, lovely. im so glad it happened like a few weeks before its done and now it won't stock up on buds haha. thats why you always have an extra everything. in case it breaks down you're not fucked. Well lets see how much i can still manage to get out of it. (:

Seedler 8 weeks of flower week 8 - 15 i did not update on every week not the harvest i expected tbh. i had higher hoped for hydro but i also had a lot of fuck ups. i will give an better review and some more fotos of the trimmed weed after it finished drying.
