Planning ahead for the next grow.
My current grow is just about finished, and I will be harvesting them for the next 4 weeks but wanted to start a new journal.
I was going to start a 20 seed Pheno hunt but I'm gonna push that off until the fall and run some more varieties to see if I can find that special lady that I can turn into a mother plant and clone. I like a little of both worlds the older strains and the newer stuff so I'll be growing a variety of both.
In the 3x3 I am gonna go with the reg seeds Sawa (Lemon Thai X [Lime1 BX x SBSE) and Wolfman (95 Silver Haze X Lieu Hahn). I'm gonna shoot for 1 fem of each strain so I will probably germ 3 seeds each to be on the safe side.
In the 4x4 I'm growing the 4 fems, Mac Dragon from Dragons Flame, and 3 Exotic Genetix strains I've had sitting in my wine fridge forever now Gary Poppins ( Gary Payton x Red Runtz) , Blackout Bobby( Gelato x Rainbow Chip) , and Lemon Drip ( Lemon Tree x Grease Monkey).
Hopefully I can get more than 5 people to chime in on my journal, but if not I will settle for eyeballs and hopefully someone admired my flowers.
Gonna call day 14 day 1 of veg and plan on flipping on june 14th. Sent out leaf samples and will have sex results back by next friday so 15 plants will most likely shrink down to 8 to 12
Day 14 on these seedlings. Technically this is the end of week 1 veg since I count day 1 when they get their 2nd set of leaves. Gonna transplant in 3 days, top in 10 days and flip in 20 days
Got sex results back and got lucky as hell 7 out of 11 are fems so its gonna be a tight tent this run. Gonna put a few in the 3x3 when the blueberry finally ripens.
End of week 1F all 11 looking great so far I'm a huge fan of this cropsalt nutrient line I've had zero issues during veg 10 out of 11 liked full strength nutes and 1 plant the wolfman haze was a little picky and developed some pale tips but nothing too crazy and now I know her limits so on her clones I'll do 75% nutrients
The harvest window has begun. Once these dry I will start flowering the clones. My two keepers for this hunt were lemon drip and chocolate marshmallows pheno A looking forward to revegging these and turning them into moms
this one was the best out of the bunch. sweet sugary lemon starburst terps with some gassy funk on the back end and an absolute heater. I gotta get this one tested because its definitely in the high 20s with a fantastic terpene profile. its the only strain that hits me hard for over an hour and I am a daily medical user that consumes rosin all day long and flower does barely anything to me. A little bit salty that I lost the clone for this one and the reveg failed but In the words of the guy in the chair "that's the way she goes". The yield on these were shit since I did a pheno hunt and crammed 11 into this 4x4 but I was going for quality over quantity since this is just medicine for myself and its better than paying a fortune for corporate grown mids
I grew two different phenotypes of this strain. One was a little more leafy and had more of a mint aroma early on but towards the end they both smelled identical. Overall they were easy to grow and gave me zero issues. I cloned both of these but lost the best phenotype clone and just said fuck it and scrapped the other since it was the leafy one that I didn't want anyway. Too many seeds and too much heat sitting in my wine fridge to worry about that I know I will find more unicorns just have be more careful in the future and do a better job with labeling these clones.
I thought for sure that this one was gonna be my favorite but the Lemon Drip is just so much more potent. This one isn't bad though and I think it would make really good concentrates so I'm gonna save the 2 or 3 ounces I have let it cure for a few months in the grove bags then press some flower to test it out.

Thank you, I have a really good feeling about this one. Still in shock that I was able to squeeze 11 into this 4x4 definitely working out of my comfort zone right now
Decided to add two more strains. Popped 3 each of Exotic Genetix Chocolate Marshmallows ( GG4 x Mint Chocolate Chip), and Hazelnut Cream ( Cookies and Cream x Miami Haze). I've had these packs in my fridge for over a year now and have heard really good things about the Choc Marsh strain and wanted to add another sativa to the mix so decided on the Hazelnut. Trying to grow a good variety that I won't get sick of.
