5 out of 8 seeds germinated(so far) going to give it another 2-3 days if it doesn’t sprout I’ll toss them. Started them in a humidity dome but as soon as they pop out of the soil I take them out and mist the soil every few hours. Did something called a potted huegelmound or just huegelmound. It’s where you throw compost at the bottom of your grow bucket to help the roots stretch for those nutrients.

It’s growing pretty well. I can tell the roots are starting to spread. We are having a bit of a drought here in central NY which is great for potted outdoor weed plants bc u are in control of watering. Also how do u like my blueberry garden. I surrounded it with strawberries and rosemary as they are a good companion crop

Growing great. We r getting a bit of a drought here in NY but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Plants are getting watered by me and getting almost full sun every day. Are first rain in weeks is this Saturday. Curious to see how they take to that. I had to spray them with dr zymes the other day bc I had to bring my plants indoors due to the temps being below 30 degrees. I threw them in my 5x5 with a fan exhaust fan and air conditioner to keep it from getting shocked when I threw them outside. No mold no insects no burn. I swear by the stuff. Really saved an indoor plant last year. Some people think it’s snake oil(scam) but from experience I can tell u it works. I’ve heard nightmare stories of people bringing outdoor plants indoors and getting some type of infestation. Took some precautions. Cleaned my whole living and dining room too.

All doing well one is pretty small but the rest r starting to get tall. The ph is pretty on point bc the leaves are all pointing up. Spraying them with Dr zymes once a week which is basically an organic fungicide and insecticide. Using a low concentration bc I am using coco coir with living nutrients. Plants are in pre flower and are overall doing great. We’ve had a bit of a cold spurt here along with a drought. Had to bring all my plants in even my photoperiods bc it got below 30 degrees F the other day. Got down to 33 degrees the other day here in central NY but I risked it and kept them all out. Luckily they all made it. A couple were a little droopy but recovered since and are now thriving 24 hours later.

The compost tea increased the size of all my plants. Almost doubled in less than 4 days. Been rarely getting any rain here on the east coast. Pretty bad drought actually. Prob cuz of commercial farm practices. But that’s a different topic. Incase any of you were wondering what my compost tea is composed of compost, worm castings, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, epsom salt(makes great top feeding) as well as some fish emulsion and molasses

Finally got some rain this week. Thank god bc of the wild fires hopefully this at least helps with the drought. Been spraying my plants with dr zymes fungicide and insecticide. I use a weak to moderate solution bc I am using living soil and don’t want to hurt the bacteria. Just gave it its last sugar feeding of coconut water to fatten up those buds. I’ve had great results using raw coconut water b4 flush. That or plain unsulfured molasses. But the coconut water add a beautiful smell to the soil and I believe it add a good taste to the buds it’s self(with a good flush of course.) when I mean flush I don’t mean the way that chemical fertilizer users flush I just mean give it plain ph water

Each plant is a week or 2 behind the strawberry pie by fast buds which was also started a week early. Bigger buds than the strawberry pie but much less frost and flavor

So we’re getting close. 1 plant had some powdery mildew on it and 1 had some type of orange mite. Sniped off some infected leaves and gave it a slightly stronger spray of dr zymes. Typically I use 1 oz of dr zymes per half gallon this time I used 2 oz to kill any mold and mites. Haven’t seen any sign of either mites or mold so I’m happy. May have to harvest those 2 a little early or cut off branches that get infected again but let’s hope for the best
