Prairie State Genetix - “The Wock” aka Wockesha
Purple Frost Giant(Welcome to the Grow Tent) x Bloodbath(LITFarms)
This is part 1 of The Wock Pheno Hunt
Off to a great start! One of the ladies is a tri-leaf mutation. They will stay in solo cups for 2 weeks and then transplanted to 5 gallon bags. SoIL Grown Living soil
These grow so fast as you can see from the 1st pick they’re about 2” tall. By the end of the week they were about 5” tall. For now they are under the TSL200. The tri-leaf mutation is throwing tops everywhere. There also one that growing kinda weird. It’s long and lanky.
5 of the ladies have been transplanted into 5 gallon pots. The one weird lanky one was transplanted to a 2 gallon pot. I’m not really liking it’s structure so it might be a throw away… I’ll give her time to show me she’s worth!
Week 5 Veg and things are cruising along. The lanky girl in the 2 gal pot is starting to look better structure wise than the other 5. Thinking about transferring her to a 7 gallon pot for clones! The Tri leaf mutation is really taking off, throwing tops for days with out training or topping. 3 of the ladies have been topped to make bushes and the other are growing natural with some defoliation.
Week 6 Veg. The Wock smell is getting stronger by the day. Strong candy terps with gas, Straight GAS that stings the nose bit makes you want to take an even bigger huff. I can already tell she’s going to be stanky once flower starts. One thing to note about Wockesha is that she is a super compact plant with thick foliage once topped. I’ve started to introduce the bloom nutrients at 1tbsp/g. since I’ll be flowering in the next 3 to 4 weeks, I’m adding early to ensure that all nutrients in my living soil will be broken down and readily available to all plants as soon as bloom starts.
“The Wock” 7 Weeks🤙🏾 Ladies are crushing its! I’ve for sure found 2 phenols I want to keep going based on structure and growth. The first was actually going to be a throw away. I didn’t like how lanky she was in her solocup stage. I instead topped her to slow down lateral grown and threw her in a 2 gallon bag to do her thing. She is now in a 7 gallon bag and has the best structure of them alll IMO. My 2nd pheno is a Tri-leaf mutation and it throws tops like no other! The perfect mother plant and is why I chose her as pheno #2. The 2 plants that were topped at the 5th node are bushing out more and more, just like it like it. There are 2 natural growing plants are doing great as well. They have nice bushing with one main cola. All plants will be defoliated 5 days before flip. The nose coming from these ladies is LOUD and I mean LOUD! Sour Candy and Burt Fuel! I’ll be taking cuts and flipping these ladies soon! Happy Growing PSGX Family! 🚀PSGX to the 🌕 #Phant0m
Week 8 and The Wock ladies are doing great. They have been flipped and given flower nutes. Pre flower pistils are just starting to show. I removed some large fan leaves blocking bud sites, not too much. Pheno #1 in the 7 Gal pot is getting huge. She is the closest to the light with no damage to her leaves. Tri-Leaf Mutation has had some much needed defoliation, but not too much. The bud sites on her are ridiculous!
We in flower now baby💪🏾 The Wock Day 9F. The ladies are smelling hella sweet! 🍭🍬 PSGX x LIT Farms Murder She Wrote Photo Fem Line! This whole line is the shit. I’ve only ran Wockesha but I’ve been checking out grower pics from the other strains in this line and telling you straight 💎💎💎💎💎 My next run will be a few strains from this line! #PSGxMurderTeam
Week 2 of flower and the ladies are starting to frost up! Watering every 3 days about 2 liters each. The monster in the 7 gal gets about a gallon every 3 day or 4 days and takes it all in with no problem. The light is about 19-22” from the tallest plant. Still dimmed to 80%
Week 4 of flower and everything still cruising right along. The buds are fattening up and the frost is emerging full tilt! The 7 gallons monster pheno is thriving and still the biggest plant in the tent! Terps ranging in all types of fruit and a back end of gas! Some clips of all the phenos from my Wockesha hunt. My favorite Phenos #1 & #2 throw out that beautiful orange color with hella frost. The “Sunkissed Wock” pheno is what I’ve been call the Tri-Leaf mutation. You guys will definitely be seeing more of her in the future along with more from the Murder, She Wrote Line! 💪🏾🤙🏾 -Midbest Phant0m
Not much has changed since last update. All the phenos are showing off their different buds. It’s a beautiful sight in here. One pheno seems too have some toxicity somewhere. I’ll be getting that in line asap.
One of my exhaust fans stopped on me and it’s been getting pretty hot in the tent. Some leaf tips are Burt from heat stress. All is good should bounce back fast.
Wockesha starting week 9 of flower! Harvest will be at week 10. I am really impressed with the strain. It’s takes good to all Stress Wockesha Day 63: 7Gallon Monster Pheno
If you rock with PSGx you know this is a 8-9 week strain but I take everything I grow to the max of it can handle it and this one for sure can. Minus the leaf burn she's beautiful at 9 weeks. Chop day will be the 31st at 10weeks
For the past 2 weeks she hasn't been a fan of the high light intensity from the FC-E6500. That still hasn't stopped her from putting on weight! Some of these colas are wider than quart bottles from Fox Farms. This pheno is my #1 pick from this Wock run and has all the qualities I'm looking for in growth.
The rest of the ladies:
Showtime beautiful buds with so much frost. Although all the phenos were different that all had one thing in common. Purple undertones to the buds
Week 10 for Wockesha she is finally at her end. All phenos look beautiful with different tones of purple through out the bud. All the Pheno had dense buds. Some phenos had better frost factor and some had better weight factor. Will do a whole plant hang dry for 2-3 weeks and then to a jar cure!
Strain is resistant to most pests and mold didn’t have a problem with any of them. I do recommend topping all plants and low stress trains to direct growth and production to the main colas. If not the lower under growth will take over and not be worth the hassle to trim… Bids finished dense and super frosty with amazing smells. Trimming was normal work.
It’s been a journey growing this wockesha strain. I found 4 phenos that are keeps but narrowed it down to 1 that I want toner run and that is tha 7 gallon monster Pheno. It gave me the best weight. The Tri leaf pheno was another good one. The bud was dense and it had color for days. Each pheno had a different smell ranging from candy to sweet pastries with strong gas after notes. All in all all the the plants performed great some better than other but that’s to be expected! I’m going for a 2 month cure on this run. Also I ended up with 4 gallon sized freezer bags worth of sugar leaf trim for washing. I recommend this strain to anyone looking for good yields with lots of dense frosty buds.
