Day 0 Germ: Just got my first grow underway! Set up the 3x3 AC Infinity grow kit this morning and planted these right away in 3 gal fabric pots.. Put the seed directly into the soil. It's 75% Gaia Green Living Soil and 25% Gaia Green Worm Castings. Also using Gaia Green dry amendments, so that's 1tbsp per gal of 4-4-4 All Purpose and of 2-8-4 Power Bloom. Technically only used .5tbps per gal of each since adding the Power Bloom early. Adding it early because they are autos and some guy on the internet told me to do it that way. Watered at 6.3 ph with just about a shot glass of water each. Put a little plastic up on top of each seed to up the humidity for them. I will remove the lid once they sprout. All controlled by the AC Infinity 69 Pro controller. Only have one clip fan setup at the moment but have another one ready to go when needed. Tent is sitting at 78F and 65% humidity. Under the 240W that comes with the kit, about 18 inches from the soil. Day 2.5 Germ: Slightly sprayed the soil on top of the seeds with 6.2 pH water. Just trying to keep it moist. Also watered the soil around the plastic cups to keep the rest of the soil hydrated. The light is now at 22 inches above the soil and dimmed to 50% intensity. Trying to get a grip in this DLI and PPFD thing. Using the Photone App on iOS to monitor. I think my DLI is still high for 24/0 lighting but I'm still learning so the lighting setup might change! Added a picture of the tent conditions as per the AC Controller 69 PRO interface. Temperature is now in Celsius so that it's easier to track for myself and my fellow growers from up North 😃 Going to aim to maintain these conditions until they turn into seedlings. Day 3.5 Germ: Went in to spray the top soil around the cups for all the girls this morning and took a peek under the lids. Looks like Double Grape plants number 1 and 2 are starting to make their way up from the soil! Number 3 yet to show her head. Will check the tent once before bed tonight and will update if she shows up. Most likely will show tomorrow at the earliest. Day 4 Germ: All three coming along. Number 1's stem shot up the second most but she has her seed shell clinging on to the top of the stem. But the cotyledons don't seem impeded by it so they should spread by end of the night. Number 2 has the most growth of them all with the bigger first set of leaves and longer stem. Still got a little clinger there tho.. And coming in as the shortest, but also with first set of leaves, is Number 3. At least she doesn't have baggage like the other two. Day 5 Germ: Nothing much to report. Slight growth on the three girls. Next time I post (unless something worthwhile comes up) will be at the start of week 1 veg for them. I expect that to be in two days. Tent is sitting at 70% humidity, 24 degrees Celsius and a.75-0.80 VPD

Currently at 22" above soil at 50% intensity and still getting ~50DLI at Germ/Seedling stage (too high?). It's a 240W LED. Do I keep dimming the light or do I change light schedule (24h currently) to get proper DLI?

I start mine on 30% they seem to love it. After a week you can turn it up.

Day 1 of veg just started..... I think? lol All three showing signs of growing their 2nd set of leaves and growing a little taller everyday. Double Grape #3 is showing some light yellowing. Got advice from another forum site that it may be due to being a little late with a watering. I'll be taking better care with checking, around my work schedule, when the soil is drying up. I'm hoping she bounces back to lush green soon. Light intensity is sitting at 30% to keep the DLI in check. Keeping the humidity at 70% since it's still early veg and I also have a CDLC in this tent that has yet to sprout. Day 5 Think I might have under watered two of the three. Gave more water this morning when the soil was dry and they responded well by the time I came back from work. Gotta pay better attention to the amount of water I give at specific stages of growth.

Day 8 So far just adding water at this point. Starting to slowly drop humidity to 65% this week. Watering every 2 days with about 500ml of 6.3-6.5 pH water. Day 11 Added dry amendment top dressing with 4 tbsp per gall of Worm Castings, 1 tbsp 4-4-4 and 1 tbsp 2-8-4 (total). Was gonna wait until week 3 start but, since I mixed the medium lighter than I planned, I decided to add this early. Let's see how it plays out.

Day 15: Starting week 3 today. Plants are looking alright I think. Of course I have two that I believe I under-watered a week and a bit ago that are shorter and showing slower growth than #2. I also think that maybe they are getting too much light (at 30% for 2 weeks now). Some of the leaf edges are starting to, very slightly, curve up. Not sure if a slight curve is normal but I will continue to observe and look into the subject. Will change things around if I need to. Day 17: Double Grape #2 was looking tall and healthy so decided to start some LST with her. Also gave her some water as her pot was dry. The other two girls look like they will need water tomorrow or maybe later tonight. Day 20: Adjusted the LST on both girls pretty much daily since starting. Took about 4 fan leaves combined from the 2 as well. Not really touching #1 since she's the runt of the group.

Showing come slight curling on a couple fingers of a couple fan leaves on 2 plants. Also showing on the new forming leaves at the top. Is this normal? 240W light at 24" above at 30% intensity for 3 weeks. Again, it's only on a couple leaves. Check Grow Journal for more info.

There are only 3 reasons for the edges to curl up. Those reasons are, heat stress, root problems or extreme low humidity. You know the best wich one of these could be the most obvious for your grow.

Day 22: Starting the week strong! #1 is noticeably getting her green back into her leaves and stem. Not sure if it's due to the top dressing, the proper watering, or from adjusting the lights. Might be a bit of all the above. Still thinking I will let her just grow on her own until harvest. She will get her training from the wind created by the fans. #2 is continuing to be the monster that she is. I had to really keep up with her daily last week to keep tying down the fast growing shoots. She's the tallest at 9" right now but that's with the hard bend in the stem from training. Looks like she want's to start flowering soon (I think). Possibly by end of week? #3 is trying to catch up to her older sister but still lagging behind a bit. Responded well to the training Continuing the training for another day or two then will just let her stretch because, as of right now, there seems to be a stop in new shoot growth.

Day 36: So it’s the start of week 6 and pretty happy with the results so far. This should just be a week of just adding water. Tallest one is just under two feet tall and I’m pretty happy I managed to pull that off on my first grow! Did some very slight defoliation this morning and a couple days ago. I’m talking taking 2x bottom fan leaves on DG 2 and 3 that were yellow. Day 38: So got in last night from a 2 week work trip. Looks like there's a nitrogen deficiency going on here. They also could use some water. So I top fed all three with 1 tbsp per gallon of Gaia 4-4-4 and 4 tbsp per gallon of castings. I also started brewing up a compost tea last night with the intention of giving it to them later tonight. Guess I'm going to learn how to deal with, and hopefully recover from, deficiencies on this grow lol. Day 39: Gave all three a complete watering (until runoff) with the compost tea. Hope to start seeing results in the next two days. Day 40: Woke up and saw a little more yellow than when I went to bed 7 hours ago. Not the best but could have been waaaaay worse. Went to work and didn't see any spreading since the morning 😀. Feeling pretty good. Posted an update picture of the tent for reference. Day 42: Humidity stable at 62%. Will drop to 60 by end of next week. Did some defoliation last night to maximize the airflow from my 2x AC Infinity fans. Also pruned some of the very obvious shoots that won't grow into anything. Probably could have done more pruning but, since it's my first grow, I'm a little curious about how some of them will turn out. Any larf is just going into the wash for bubble hash making anyway 😝

Day 42: Gave them all water today. All still looking great! Tent is at 26 C with 60-63% humidity. VPD around 1.1-1.3. Light is up to 60% intensity and will probably stay there for the rest of the grow. Photone is showing the DLI pretty high so I don't want to push it much higher from 60%. Can't raise the light more than another inch or two and, due to some surprise stretching from my late flowering DG, the light is now about 18 inches above canopy. Day 45: Pretty much watering every 24-36 hours with between 2-3L. Gave them some today and got a tea brewing for the next watering. DG1 has successfully made the comeback from the yellowing of it's youth and it has taken top spot as the tallest plant (30.5 inches today). To be fair, she has gotten no LST but, I gotta say, she has come pretty good growth structure built into her genetics.

Day 49: Top dressed all three with 2-8-4 Gaia Power Bloom and Worm Casting this morning, coupled with a good watering. No more 4-4-4 All Purpose for these girls. Will be feeding with some compost tea later on this week sometime. The buds are looking awesome and becoming dense as well. The tent slightly smells of grapes an skunk, but if you touch a nug your fingers will smell like grape candy! Still 2-3 weeks to go at least I think. And that's for the two further along. My giant 32 inch #1 is going to be harvested a couple weeks after her sisters at this rate. Day 54: Took some micro pics of the top cola and a bud midway up the plant. Think I'll be harvesting late next week. Going to give them one last compost tea today then just straight water until harvest.

Day 56: DG2 and 3 are looking about a week away from chop to me. Showing some amber and lots of cloudy heads. I'll be monitoring them daily and might chop one early next week so that I can compare the strain at different flowering times. I fed #1 and #2 with some compost tea yesterday morning. Water only for #2 and #3 from now on. Might give #1 another top dressing of Power Bloom at the start of next week since she is still early on in bud development and looks like she wants to put on weight.

Day 63: Final day for DG #2. Will be chopping her tomorrow morning. Took down #3 two days ago. She's definitely on the early stage of the harvest window but she looked ready. Expecting #1 to take another 2 weeks before chop. Getting close to finally trying these sweet looking nugs! Day 64: Took down DG #2 this morning. About 7-10 days in the dry tent for her.

Day 70: With about a week left before chop, #1 is going strong. Looks like she grew the densest buds out of all three plants. After 7 days of drying, i have both Double Grape #2 and 3 in their own grove bags. I got 27g from #3 and 96g from #2. Pictured above is #2 on the scale with the bag weight added in. Also have about 20g of super frosty trim. Day 77: Last plant is hanging in the dry tent. Will update the diary once it’s trimmed and it the bag. Will update total dry weight.
