Hello Friends,
Welcome to my Bush Medicine Diary.
I'm allways on the hunt for good CBDV strains for when i want to ease my pain without getting stoned, and i thought id give this one ago as ive not tried CBDV yet.
This gal will be going outside and hidden in a disused pond to remain hidden, she'll be in the bush 😊
Seed popped ok after 48 hours, hopefully she'll do well!
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Good Friday Friends,
This week shes had a good start from the seed popping last week, she seems happy and healthy 😊
Really looking forward to trying her buds and shes only just started 🤣
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Hello my Friends,
Sorry for the late update things have been a bit hectic this end.
I've transplanted my Bush medicine into a 10 litre pot yesterday and have given a dose of Great White.
Shes not in her final place yet as i want her a little bigger to fend off any bug attacks but shes now outside as of last night and under cover in a friends raised bed.
Shes looking ok growth isn't as fast as id like but she seems healthy and happy.
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
My little Cbdvs had a good week, shes settled into her new pot and is now in her new home outside in the pond. She seems to have a bit of verigation which is odd but is not currently a concern.
Shes had her first feed yesterday of the GHS short flowering powder at half of the recommended strength and another dose of great white, il monitor her over the next week to see how she responds.
Im trialing a new type of organic slug pellett, it has wool in and apparently they don't like the hairyness on their feet. They seem to be working well around my little gem lettuces which im growing seperatley😊
Overall the weathers been perfect in the UK, suns shining and shes loving life.
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well my CBDV has had a fantastic week, shes responded well to the feed last week and has really taken off.
My gals tripled in size, has pumped out a few new leaf sets and has started branching out 😊
Ive thought about it quite a bit and ive decided not to train her for a couple of reasons, firstly as shes slightly recessed in the pond i want her to be tall and catch as much sun as possible and also i dont want to create a bridge for pests by her touching the plants around her. Its also nice to see how she grows naturally.
So far im really pleased with this strain and the way shes growing.
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well weve had a very windy week her in the UK and despite being covered shes been whiped about quite a bit, also shes been munched a bit by bugs on the lower leaves, although shes stood up well to wind and pests.
Although i said no training last week she was growing so fast that she started peeking over the top of the pond breaking cover and making her visible from a distance. As a result ive had to top her to restrict height and move her a bit further into the undergrowth.
Shes had another solid week of sun and im really happy with her growth, these seem to be good solid genetics from Seedsman 😊
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well my gals had a bit of a mixed week.
At the begining of the week somethings had a proper munch on her as you can see from the pics. i dont beleive in using chemicals on any plants so i finely chopped a whole head of garlic and left it to steep in about a litre of water sealed for a couple of days, the mix was then very finely sprinkled on the plant and the surrounding areas to deter bugs, seems to be working well as no further damage since 😊
In terms of growth shes gone absolutely mental this week, i was worried about the late topping but shes been fine, grown loads and is turning into a proper bush 😁 Flowering is about to commence and i couldnt be happier with her progress😊
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Its been mostly a week of sunshine here in the UK but we have had a couple of really rainy days. Unfortunately on those days my garlic stuff got dispersed and critters move in, including snail damage.
Im pretty sure the organic pelletts do work but theres plenty of bridges now from surrounding plants. So this week ive put down a snail trap which consists of a jar just over a pint of budweiser and a good slug of salt, ie only got one so far but i feel that he was the culprit!!
Sorry thats shes hard to see in the photos but shes really filled the space with the surrounding plants, basically shes grown loads again this week and ive had to start feeding the bamboo around her to give more coverage! Flowering has now begun proper so hopefully she should slow down height wise!
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well we've had a completely different week here in the UK, the weather has been mainly cloudy and raining with only 2 days of decent sunshine, im hoping that this isn't going to be a continuing theme as could cause problems with the flowering!
Despite being waterlogged my gals still thriving this week, ive increased her feed a tiny bit and flower development is going well. I plan to give her a little boost and PK soon but she'll need to dry out first 😊
Overall still a good week and this strain seems well suited to life outdoors.
Thats all from this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well weve had a mainly shit cloudy week here in the UK, like last week some really wet days and shes had a drenching. Shes been munched further and topped up the trap supply with fresh beer today.
On a positive note its been quite breezy which has helped to dry her out and weve had a really hot day today. I gave her a shot of boost and PK a couple of days ago and shes loving it, bud developement is going well and still very happy with how this strain is performing and the size of her 😊
Again sorry that she difficult to see but shes growing into the camoflage/vegitation around her. Hopefully some of the close ups gove a good idea how shes doing.
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well we've had another shocking week of weather here in the UK with about one day of Sunshine, this culminated today in 50mph winds and torrential rain for 6 hours!
Ive been out to her each day to shake off excess water when the rain has stopped and bud rot is a real concern after the past few weeks. Ive wanted to feed her again but have not been able as the pot has not been dry.
Despite this shes really holding her own and i'm really impressed with this strains resiliance 😊 As far as i can see shes ok but if the weather continues i may have to chop a bit earlier than id like, however she is maturing and getting there.
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Happy Friday Friends,
Well we've actually had a few days of sun here in the UK which has been nice this week. Shes put on some weight and smell has ramped up, shes also lookin nice and shiney with Trichs. Again no feed or watering as she was still sodden from the weather.
This week will be my last update before harvest, we have another weather system moving in next week with more sustained torrential rain. Last year i lost allot due to bud rot and although she looks fine at the moment id rather harvest slightly early rather than risk it!
All in all shes still lookin fab and im really happy with this strains growth 😊
Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
Well my Friends weve come to harvest,
I brought her in last night as the next weather system came in and i'm glad i did. As when giving the chop i started to find some rot in the lowest branches. Given another week of rain this would have spread so really glad i took her in and maybe lost about an 1/8 so not to bad.
I'm really pleased with how this strain performed in terrible conditions of the solid 3 weeks of rain, she was a mefium to heavy feeder and was effortless to grow, top genetics from Seedsman😊
I know for a fact that given better conditions she would perform even better with more feeding and sun. I think il deffo run this strain again at some point 😊
Not sure how much is there currently but seem to have a decent amount, il update when shes dry with weight and a smoke report.
To anyone who has followed this diary i hope you've enjoyed it and thank you for your comments and likes.
Thats all from me until Smoke/Weigh in, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️
