This week brought lots of growth. The Alaskan purple, blue dream, and green gelato that I originally started from seed on 4/21 are all about 10 inches tall and are not yet showing any signs of flowering. Unfortunately, I had a small snail issue and a few plants got munched by slugs. The plants started from seed on 4/28 are now about 7 inches tall. All I have been doing is watering every other day using the pre-loaded nutes in the happy frog and ocean forest.
@TangoNCash,
Thanks and hope your grow is going well. Not sure that I will do autos again next year. A lot will depend on the dry yield I get. If I average less than an ounce a plant, I will not consider them worth continuing as I can easily get a pound or more quality bud on a full photo. I like their compact size and the fact I will have a harvest by early July. That being said, they are much more finicky. Next year I can envision doing one early crop of 10 autos and starting 2 full photos at the same time. That might be a better mix as it will give me a nice, early harvest head stash during the summer and yield me plenty for the rest of the year with the full photos.
