The Great White 1000% solved the root slime/algae issue. Cant recommend the stuff enough. While trying to adjust my floor fan, I knocked the gallon CO2 homebrew jug off the light and onto the Bubba Kush Plant. I lost my main stem (I topped and ended up with 3 equal stems after it repopped in the center where I thought I topped well enough) Didnt have my drying room setup nor was it flushed but I ended up trimming 3 broken stems. Drying was embarrassing, couldnt maintain temps lower than 75F during the day and 69 at night. The only fan I had to use actually raised the temp by 1-2 degrees. Humidity stayed between 40-45%. I was afraid to add the humidifier due to the higher temps. Definitely dried too quickly but oh well. They were casualties, not flushed, dried in 6 days, but never molded. After trimming I got right at 1oz from what was broken off in the incident. The rest of the week was uneventful. Started paying closer attention to the trichomes. Noticed in the beginning of the week that they were 100% cloudy and ~20% amber. I have extreme anxiety, some Hybrids and a lot of Sativa strains at high THC and terpene content actually make it worse. So I wanted to shoot for higher amber count before harvest. End of week was around 30% so with the lower half of the tent peppered with dried sugar water, I decided to flush. Just water PH to 5.8 with Florakleen. I used it for some nutrient change 2 hour flushes with good results. Started Flush on Tues 6/13/2023. Haven't decided whether or not to do the 26-48hr dark period before harvest but will decide before the 48hr flush is over. Either way. Air conditioner, humidifier, and fans are ready for the drying cycle. Will simply trim most of the few larger non sugar leaves and hang the rest upside down as a whole plant. Aiming for a 12-14 day dry time.

Have a good grow 😉

Nice looking grow. Have you ever tried coco coir? It is much easier to manage than DWC and you still get amazing results. Good luck!

@Tweezer, Im contemplating it. I like the immediate plant response you get with nutrients in DWC. I can visually see the roots being oxygenated and any root issues. Less pest, fungus, and bacteria issues. But it is a PAIN to maintain nutrient temps and levels. And as of late, moving the whole plant/lid to do top offs, nutrient changes, PH/PPM samples is tedious, scary, and risky... I either have to drill a 1" hole and add a plug in the lid to get samples and pump in/out nutrients. Also buy a cheap borescope to see the roots when needed. Or Im switching to coco. Im most likely going to have to dry in this same space. My drying tent is only a 3x3 and with the size of these girls I dont think it would be large enough nor easy enough to control enviro conditions. So Ill have a few weeks to decide before the next grow. Also thinking of doubling my grow area and doing 4 plants. The added plants would double my time spent doing nute changes. A lot to think about before mid July when Im done drying.
