Good morning, everyone!
I'm embarking on a new journey, my second attempt at nurturing hope through growth. I hope to make fewer mistakes this time around.
The seeds have all sprouted using the paper towel method, and they are now comfortably settling into 8-liter pots. I've chosen the BioBizz light mix soil, and for the first 10 days, I'll be adding only pH 6.5 water. After that, I'll introduce BioBizz CalMag, as my water parameters require it, along with BioBizz Grow.
We shall see how our lovely ladies develop and, eventually, provide a delightful harvest to enjoy.
The second week has just begun, the girls are looking good but I don't expect any complications until the 4rd or 5th week.
I'm currently watering every second day with pH 6.5 water, adding 2ml of Biobizz Grow, 2ml of Biobizz Acti-Vera, and 0.5ml of Biobizz Calmag because that was my main issue last time.
I will be following this schedule for the next two weeks, adapting to the needs.
Today, week 4 has begun, so starting today, I have reduced BioBizz Grow by 1ml and added Bloom and Top-Max. This schedule will be maintained for the next two weeks. In my opinion, the plants are holding up well. Depending on the growth in the upcoming week, the first topping will be done. I had to raise the lamp because in such a small tent without air conditioning, the temperature increased by a few degrees. We'll see what happens in a month. For now, everything looks good ☺️
The fourth week is behind me, and we're entering the eight-week flowering phase. The girls are looking healthy. I was concerned about the discoloration of the Royal Haze leaves, but I hope it's not the beginning of a CalMag deficiency. I'm still adding 0.5ml of CalMag, so I don't think there should be any issues. I won't change the supplementation for now; I'll make adjustments starting from next week. We've had warm days recently, so the air conditioning is already in use. I'm feeling positive.
Week 5 is behind us, and I have to admit that for my third time as a grower, it’s looking really good. Today, I didn’t add BioBizz Grow because everything seems to be going as it should. I wanted to apply LST, but I noticed that it’s quite breezy, so I think I’ll leave it as it is. I trimmed the girls gently, and I think that should be enough.
Week 6 is behind us, the photos were taken two days ago. The girls are developing very well, compared to my first grow.
There are no discolorations or any signs of nutrient deficiency. Everything looks really good, and there's a frost forming on the leaves, but it's unlikely to be cold 🤣.
We're starting week 8. The girls have been looking good so far, but I don't anticipate large yields. They fit perfectly in a 60x60 tent. I've started adding more BioBizz Bloom, the rest remains unchanged. They're currently drinking 500ml per day. The smell is weak but they still have 5-6 weeks until harvest.
Everything looks good, although I slightly dried them out because I was away for two days, but I think everything will return to normal. As I mentioned before, I didn't use LST (Low Stress Training), and I think it was a mistake because I believe I would have bigger yields if I had used this technique. However, I didn't expect too much since the plants are in 8-liter pots.
I encountered several issues, probably due to low pH. Some leaves turned yellow, while others developed yellow spots. However, two of them didn't show any symptoms, despite being watered the same way. I lack the experience to pinpoint the exact problem. Considering there are less than three weeks left until harvest and this is the final week of supplement application, I think I'll leave it as it is.
It's already week 12, and the girls are looking amazing! This week, I started watering them with pH-adjusted water to flush them. In precisely four days, I'll be trimming them, and then we'll start the drying process.
