Day 1 for these 9.9.18. Switching things up a bit for this grow gunna be hand watering with nectar of the gods line so I can be organic but continue to grow in coco. Hoping I can increase my.flavors and aromas while staying in coco to hopefully keep yields close to my average. I'm not sure how it will go but we will see.
The whole crop except for a few have been stunted. The nectar line requires a higher ph because its calcium based instead of nitrate from what I understand. I started the ph at 6.1 but didnt see rapid growth at all until I brought it up to 6.4 which was this week. The pots take longer to dry out as well because the nute solution is so thick. I knew I would sacrifice yields when I switched off the synthetics but I'm pretty confident i can do better than this with the nectar just need a smooth start.
Down to 1 of these the other ones were so fucked up I just yanked em to free up some space. I've flushed the whole crop of them then past couple days and the ph was way too low for the nectar line so I brought it up to around 6.3 hopefully ill see some improvement. Vpd was also a mess with the seasons changing here so I had to add some humidifiers. Past couple grows have been humbling and a good learning experience
Started a light flush this week, I cant believe how quickly this thing is finishing it smells incredible. It has been pollinated by my jellybreath male i lost.
Almost done just letting it dry out before chop, probly womt update again til everhthing is dry and cured. Puttin off a serious sour fruit smell covered in frost
First run using oregons only nectar for the gods line and I ran into some issues especially with ph as its completely different than other lines. I wont go thru all the issues but in the end the bud was pretty good. Alot of room for improvement I'm sure this strain is much better than it appears from this diary. I'll prob grow it again at some point, I have a few crosses I made from this plant going now to see how it turned out.
Didnt go smooth but the bud was pretty decent. Got a few seeds from her apricot jelly and dionysus crosses I'll get to play around with so it was worth it
