After a little more than 48 hours the tails on these ladies were pretty long so I stuck them in thier final pots. I mixed GreenGro Pridelands Veg at about a cup in 2 cu feet of Happy Frog soil and perlite mix. I put about a cup of Fox Farm Light Warrior soil in the middle to place the seed for its seedlings stage so as to avoid initial nute burn. I forgot to put the humidity dome on until the second day after put in the soil and thought they dried out but they did not. The second one is having a little trouble with her first sets of leaves. I hope I didn't drown her roots in an overcorrection. It's 420 somewhere!💕✌️🏼🌱
The second plant is finally starting to develop after I think recovering from over watering. Hopefully it starts getting stronger otherwise I'll pull it and start a new plant. The other one is doing a bit better but I can't wait to get out of the seedling stage. I just spray a small amount of water at the base when it looks fairly dry now. I took the domes off too because I feel like it was hurting more than helping. The humidity is up now in the 60s which is better than the 40s of last week. I think part of that is because I put water in the self watering pots to try to also get the nutrients 'cooking'
I'm really glad the second girl finally pulled through whatever was causing her to struggle to grow. Her leaves are coming in strong now. I've been letting the soil dry back a bit more in between watering. I just spray the bottle a total of 30 times now. 10 at a time to let the water soak instead of pooling and flowing away. No nutrients yet, her roots are probably still just in the Light Warrior soil. I do still put water in the self watering pots to add humidity to the tent and to "cook" the soil nutrients .
WOW! I'm sure these two have reached the nutes because they sure have taken off. The second one finally came into herself after I backed down the water. Hopefully I'll be able to just refill the autopot when needed for now. I can really see the growth every day. Just a little fan leaf tucking. I put the lower fan on now too add a breeze and strengthen branches.
WOW! They are getting so big. The biggest one has shown signs of preflower so I topped her. The other one is about 4 inches shorter and barely in preflower so I don't think I'll top her. I'm going to do a half dose of Veg Top dress and Bloom top dress as it has been a full 4 weeks in veg and I think I see a hint of N deficiency developing. I'll record it in next weeks info. Right now still just straight water into the self wayering pot reservior. I increased the light intensity to 70% also. I used some white string and wooden clothespins for LST to open up the middle a bit. FAST BUDS JUST OPENED UP SHIPPING IN THE USA!!!
Still growing like a beast. I did raise the light a little. I feel like the taller one that got fed BLOOM at the beginning of the week is a bit darker green than the other one. It also showed a slight amount of possible N burn/deficiency on a couple of leaves. Everything else is looking great. I did try to adjust some of the tie downs a little to open her up a bit more
So this week I used MediOne 4-3-3 to try to slow the Nitrogen deficiency I feel like I was seeing early on. i also added a little calmag. They didn't like it too much, now i have a different problem...also some of the leaves started clawing possibly from the drench when i added the top dress. I tried to dry her back a little until I saw the first signs of her drooping and then I added a little water to the autopot
Plant two is doing a little better color wise. Something is going on with the leaves of plant one mostly. Maybe it is because i was using overflow water straight from the air conditioning unit instead of the tap? I'm having to pull a lot of dead leaves off
I had to skip a week as we went out of town for the 4 th of July. My AC Infinity self watering pots worked great. I gone seven days. I let them dry back a bit for the couple of days prior to the trip, then watered from the top until nice and wet and filled the reservoir completely. The reservoir was dry when i got back and only one (plant 2) showed just barely signs of needing water again. Now I'm doing trichome checks almost daily. Lots of clear and cloudy, some amber here and there. I'm guessing I'll probably see another 4-7 days max before harvest?
Pretty much on autopilot right now. I've just been filling the water reservoir when needed. Last night I did a top watering to try to help push them through the last couple days. It shouldn't be much longer now. Pretty much all cloudy trichomes with hints of amber. Once I see a little more amber I'll chop. The topped girl will probably be harvested first, I think she's a little ahead of number 2.
I'm still fairly new to autos so I struggle a little with getting my plants to 'look' good. But I'm the end they get me buzzed and relieve my pain which is what really counts. These weren't really very smelly. So far from what I've sampled this is a very good daytime strain giving me plenty of energy to do stuff. A nice smooth smoke from a joint.
