I had a delay on this grow due to a move to another state. But I am now settled in enough to start my grow as I had planned. Two weeks ago, I dropped 4 feminized auto's: 1) Gorilla Punch (GP) 2) Wedding Cake (WC) 3) White Widow (WW) 4) Northern Lights (NL) into Dixie Cups. [BTW, my Spider Farmer FS-4000 is producing 38,000 lux at 24 inches from the light to my plants. Didn't see any where to record light readings] The GP and WC seeds popped within 3 days and are now 4' tall. The WW and NL, however, struggled to pop and once they did they didn't take root. So I dropped 2 more seeds to replace these on August 13th (almost two weeks behind the GP and WC seedlings). As you can see by the pics, those 2 have not sprouted yet but hope to see them in a couple of days. This and my future grows are for one purpose: try different strains searching for those that relieve my PTSD and OCD symptoms and side effects. As I had not used cannabis since high school in the late 70's until well after my diagnosis in 2017 when I turned to it again, I was uneducated and overwhelmed, without any contacts or means of help to reacquaint me with it and find these strains. It has been trial and error; hit and miss, ever since with the only way to finding the strains that work for these disabilities is to try them. The best way to do that is to acquire LEGITIMATE strains from REPUTABLE sources you can trust aren't sending you "a pig in a poke." It is time consuming, expensive, and sometimes frustrating; but it is also therapeutic while at the same time, allows me to sample several strains at a time and (hopefully) allow me to use my excess harvests to trade with others which would allow me to try even more strains as quickly as possible. So far I am finding the strains with high concentrations of LIMONENE and PINENE seem to have a lot to do with what works for me. I am open to other suggestions and ideas to try. Even considering trying mushroom therapy at this point... It may be that I just enjoy those strains the most. But they do seem to have the kind of head high I need that allows me to smile, laugh and feel like myself again- even if just for a short time. Depending on others to share what works for their PTSD or OCD- and I'll add those strains to my list. I am doing some pollen-chucking/breeding for myself too which gives me lots of seeds to trade and share as well in order keep this train rolling.

Not complaining going into week 8. The Wedding Cake is filling out nicely with what she has to work with given the fact that I made the mistake of topping her (and the Gorilla Punch). This was my first grow with auto-flowering plants and I just didn't know any better. So they are both small(er) than they should be. I also neglected them in their early growth while I was sick... The Gorilla Punch is interesting and resembles a bonsai tree with three really dense colas. I won't get more than a couple or three oz's out of either of them, but they are healthy and will be good smoke while my next grow develops. Speaking of my next grow, I had started another Northern Lights and White Widow last week. Both have popped and starting off right; this week, I dropped another Gorilla Punch and White Widow. They have both just popped today.
