DankDudez starting off small, i dont usually run these in the NFT at such a young age but due to it being an Auto Grow, less moving of the plant is ideal / preferred for me.

DankDudez Noticing some good growth, mainly up top but the main stems are showing some weakness initially. Very fragile towards the bottom which is indicating to me the struggle having auto's placed into an NFT system from a young age. will begin to foliar feed nitrozyme to give them a kick up the arse! the NFT system is 8ft x3ft, containing 8 plants with good spacing, 125L reservoir with constant air production through a pump & stones. Feeding times are set to 15 minutes in every hour, until established.

DankDudez NFT system is 8ft x3ft, containing 8 plants with good spacing and rooting mat, 125L reservoir with constant air production through a pump & stones. Feeding times are set to 15 minutes in every hour for the time being. Light distance is not your usual distance but i have used my techniques for quite some time now with no problems, I actually use x2 600watt HPS dual spectrum but for some reason this doesnt give that option! My growing technique is also not on this list, i dont stress these plants due to them being Auto's, but i do remove some of the bigger fan leaves just before flower which so far, hasn't given me any issues.

DankDudez These photos are the end result of week 4, with the light settings staying the same, but an increase in nutrients, and multiple nitrozyme foliar spraying, the feeding times have now been set to constant pump / circulation. The beauty of NFT is you cant starve the roots if you keep a highly oxygenated reservoir. Also i find not running the lights for 24 hours is beneficial, these plants still need a dark period to produce certain hormones to benefit the production and bud growth, its a myth that auto's will grow better with 24 hour light.

DankDudez These auto’s are growing beyond a normal rate, with a mixture of well balanced nutrients, a very specific feeding schedule and light positioning ( with right amount of light produced ) they are rocketing from their once struggling, weak stemmed stage. Averaging roughly 8 inches of growth per week, I cannot recommend nitrozyme enough for twice weekly foliar spraying. Initially I was spraying 4 times a week, just to cover the canopy, and this resulted in an explosive growth rate. So far the leaves are luscious green and stems are very strong and far from brittle, I have noticed one plant has dwarfed, I have also removed 1 plant from this system and it didn’t even show signs of growing back in the earlier stages, I just forgot to mention. 7 plants in total now with 1 dwarfed. After a good trim these are now ready to enter the flowering period.

DankDudez These girls are explosive, the pre-flower trim down didn’t last long at all, as it shows in the photos defoliating these autos prior to flower doesn’t always stunt or stress the plant too much. Mine have made a full recovery within days and continued to grow at an incredible rate. The flowering has begun, a beautiful sight to see on these girls! No signs of stress, no signs of deficiency or overfeeding, and so far im very impressed with this strain and my methods of growing it. I have switched over to the VitaLink HydroMax Bloom now, straight in with 3ml per L - Risky but i think these girls can handle it! continuing the matrix and zyme throughout including regular nitrozyme foliar spraying. Feeding it still on constant pump / cycle and the lights are still on 18’s. Again i want to stress how great nitrozyme performs throughout your grows! if you dont already use it, i mix 1 cap full with a full sprayer bottle of water around 500ml.

DankDudez The girls have started slowing down now with the insane growth spurts! as you can see in the photos I have had to throw on a scrog net to keep them down from the lights. usually I would have a room set up perfectly for all situations but this was infact a rush job getting it all in and running. my next grow will be back to Photoperiod strains with the room in a total finished state so I'm very excited to see it looking more clinical again! I will be going from NFT to a fabric bag and drain method.
so far the girls have flowered lovely, showing some great potential and still 3 weeks out. I'm hoping for a good yield from these and hopefully some lovely tasting and great coloured bud!
as it stands I won't be running any final nutes on these autos for the last few weeks, just sticking to what is listed above.

DankDudez So this grow is still blowing my mind, the growth rates of these ladies are astonishing! They have finally stopped, 8 weeks into the grow and i can honestly say management of these girls have been tricky! I have added Finale by VitaLink to help the buds ripen together but some have overtaken others. Im happy with the overall progress and results apart from some buds not gaining the purple colouring as others have. I have had to crop / harvest 2 of the plants so far due to a 70% pistle browning. I will run the other 4 until their harvest days. Please see photos above showing the harvest of 2 plants, i will update this log after final harvest - NOTE - there is a slight gap between uploading week 8 from week 7, i think around 2 weeks gap not 1 week. Thank you for following this grow so far!
@DankDudez, very well done, Dark devils are not so easy. but it looks as i youve done a lot things right. they loved to grow without soil or medium that keeps them.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you for following this one, this is my first ever Auto grow so its been hit and miss at the best of times, a learning curve most definitely! These are now soon to be totally harvested other than the 2 i have already done. Keep your eyes peeled!
@Mrs_Larimar, Hydro in NFT is very much a missed method nowadays, as beginner as it is, its also very complex due to the root spreading and interlocking root mass, so if one plant gets bad, you cant pull it out. Precision with water is crutial. But yes i totally agree, my methods have tweaked a lot from running photos in an NFT to Auto's, but i think we have it nearly nailed :)
@Sweet_Seeds, not a problem at all! Only had 1 seed not germinate and 1 dwarf out a little, but other than that they are really reacting well to these growing methods. The room is a temporary room but once i start my next it will be complete. I will be adding week 7 flower photos shortly.
Thanks again for the reply!
