48 hours in a glass of tap water, put in peat pellet 11-5-23, sprouted 15-5-23. . She ran on tap water until 21-5-23 I've got her in a traditional DWC for now to same energy and fertilizer. I'm an idiot and forgot to lower the light so she got a bit tall, I'm sure she'll bounce back fine
Nutrient solution was a bit strong to start at EC .7 evidenced by the burnt tips, I went down to EC .5, and she's doing fine now and growing strong. She drank quite a bit of water over Thursday and Friday, our weather has got a bit warmer and, I've fixed my ice probe, so she's gone in the RDWC system as her forever home now. I'm not sure what training method I'm going to play with yet :)
I'm looking forward to this grow, Jack Herer was the first plant I wanted to grow, I tried a few seeds but killed them all. I'm hoping that now I have a few years experience, I'll be able to do right by the genetics.
Been a tough week this week for environment quite warm, that's why I think she might be a bit short. Leaves look healthy though and she's growing, I'm sure she'll gain height on the stretch. Roots look nice and healthy the ice probe is still working with its new peltier plate. Hopefully she keeps ticking along.
Been another hot week but she's looking healthy and bushy so I removed some of the lower branches that wouldn't get any light. I'm keeping the nutrients a bit lower than the back of the bottle says.
She's going well considering the heat. I've done some defoliation but feel I should have toped her. I've puled the main stem over LST as I think she might get tall.
big defoliation i think that slowerd her a bit but everything that came off would have been wasted energy anyway. Whether is still hot and dry, but she's doing OK.
Growing along nicely, I think maybe I should have toped her to get a better canopy, but the flowers are forming well enough for now. Maybe next week or the week after I'll do some defoliation.
I'm hoping Vitalink can answer this question, but I'm not sure if GD works like that. When I went to use my turbo+ today the bottle was all swollen and fat, should I worry has it gone bad?
Not much to say, everything is dialed in shes coming along strong with little effort from me. :) . I probably have to many colas and fan leafs but i don't want to hack of leaves off with the weather up and down as i t is.
shes nearly there. I put her on finale 20-7-23 experience tells me the trichomes will stop going amber and the lower buds will catch up with the top ones.
So the end of her last week, shes now down hanging in the dry box. Probably could have gone another couple of days but I want to be able to trim next weekend and I'm not in to the couch lock thing. shes been easy to grow despite the hot spell we had. Smells good, looks good, looks a decent amount as well I'd guess between 60-90g . I'll up date when I've trimmed her really looking forward to vaping her this strain was my first attempt and i killed a few so go to cross it off the list.😂
