Well, a friend of mine is in need of some pure CBD stuff, so I decided to help him. I'm trying my luck with a Paradise Seeds strain from their (new?) CBD program - CBDelight. It germinated in 5 days and it looks strong. I plan to grow it outside in my greenhouse. Let's see how this lady performs.
I have transplanted the plant into a larger container yesterday to give it better support. It will stay there until I plant her in free soil... Grows well.
The plant was stunted a little bit after transplanting to the new pot. You can see it in first two leaves levels, which are somehow deformed. But the newer leaves look healthy and strong. So looks like it won't be a big deal. Waiting for some free space to plant it right into free soil - in 2 maybe 3 weeks. No special care so far, just some nutrients of natural origin - fermented chicken manure.
I was able to prepare some free space for this plant last week, so I have transplanted it into free soil. After a week it looks like she likes it a lot! Will have to add some more complex nutrients as this plant starts to grow faster.
Hello, friends!
At last an update... so I topped the plant on day 53 and it responded very well. The plant formed a beautiful wide bush. It grew so wide and vigorous I had to cut a few branches, that already touched the greenhouse walls. The weather is very rainy and quite cold for this part of year. Let's see how this beauty handles it in next update. 🤙
At last good weather with plenty of sunlight.
The plant started stretching in the begining of August. Now, in the middle of August, it's already a nice spacious bush, 110 cm high, ready to start flowering. 😍
I'm feeding it moderately with BioBizz basic nutrients and a little bit of Mg-salt.
Another two weeks and the plant is flowering nicely. It seems to me the flowers will need another ~ 4 weeks to get mature. The weather is still quite good, just the night temperatures are already low, under 10 °C. Hope it won't get too rainy soon.
Another 2 weeks and the plant continues to flower beautifully. The smell grows stronger every day. It smells skunky and sweet with slight hint of lemon.
The weather is unusually hot and dry for the beginning of october, so I'm happy. Otherwise it would be much harder for the plant to mature properly. No bud rot yet, which is usually my biggest enemy.👍
Looking forward to harvesting this bush...😋
Well, quite a lot happened since my last update. First, the flowers got really massive. One of the lower branches broke under the weight of them. So I immediatelly supported the others.
Also the weather got really bad. Cold nights stressed the plant too much so I found a few male bananas.
I have to harvest it, as it should be freezing at night. Really a pity, it's not as mature as I would like it to be. Nonetheless, the smell is beautiful. Slightly skunky and lemony and very sweet.
Strong plant, resistant, just didn't mature fully outdoors due to cold weather. The flowers were getting so massive and heavy, that the branches needed support.
