She’s looking healthy and I have a nice sunny spot for her. I mixed the coast of Maine bar harbor potting soil 50/50 with some 7+ year aged horse manure compost. I’m not an expert grower by any means, this year is an experiment for me since medical growing was recently legalized here. I have some autos growing in pots out there too
She has enough height and nodes to start Lst, good weather coming this week. By the end of the week the side branches are growing up, gonna lst those next week
We got a crazy and unexpected hail storm. I couldn’t get out and cover it in time. I had just defoliated and done more lst so it was very vulnerable. Took a beating, one branch is half broken, but I think it will survive. #PrayForGorilla
Good weather, mix of sun and rain. Solstice coming on now, so flowering coming soon but still has some growing to do. Gonna do one last lst and defoliation before it gets into full flower mode
Did some lst and defoliating before it goes full flower. Not sure if I did it right but we’ll see! 🤞🙏. Not worried about getting side branches to grow, mostly training them away from each other to prep for flowering. It’s a small photo because I put it out late but it’s growing and getting bushy
Last pruning and defoliation. It’s been raining a lot and very humid, had mold issues in my autoflowers, so I trimmed back quite a bit. Wish I had done it earlier so the plant would’ve put that energy into its main branches 🤷♂️
A lot of rain, flowering stretch in full swing. Added some compost and espionage garden tone as a top feeding. It rains so much I can’t even water it. Put in somewhat random numbers for nutrients, just added a sprinkling like the bag said
Haven’t updated in a while, plant is growing strong 💪. I think it got a little light pollution from an outside light but it’s flowering strong now. It’s about 2 weeks behind the Trench Buddy strain (last two photos) which is blooming strong. It’s about 5’ tall, buds going far down the branches. I kept tying it down but it kept pulling back up! The trench buddy is about 4’, just needs a week or two. Haven’t had many mold or mildew issues even though it’s rained a lot, and we have a lot of sunshine for the next 10 days ☀️
Started using Trifecta Crop Control after my trench buddy had some mold issues. Built a frame for a canopy ☔️. Not supposed to rain this week so I’ve got time. Doing all this, plus some hopefully drier fall weather, should prevent any serious mold issues. Might do a watering with hydrogen peroxide to clean and oxygenate the roots, it’s been a humid, rainy summer 🌦️and I’m worried about root rot. Leaves still have lots of brown spots but the plant seems healthy overall. Buds are in the fattening phase! 😁👍
Getting close to harvest but started to see some aphids and a tiny amount of of mold. Pulled the cord and harvest a bit early. Got 10 oz! Bud isn’t the best but I’m making lots of hash, edibles, and tincture. Keep a couple oz of best buds for smoking.
