Finished a grow last week and right off the bat, getting a new one started with two new strains.
Royal Jack and hulk berry from RQS.
They are in soil today so the journey has started 🤓
These have been in soil for a week but are the slowest starters Ive ever encountered. Just about clear of the soil so hopefully this week they’ll flourish.
If not, I’ll start again
WTF 😬
These have been in soil for a week and they just aren’t growing. I’ve never seen anything like this, and I’m using the same set up before.
I’ll give them a few days and see if anything changes.
Edit - shortly after this I terminated the Hulk 😬 I was looking forward to trying that. I’ve started to germinate an RQS Orion F1 to replace it
No clue why the Jack is so small at this age. I’m still leaving it for another week to see if it takes off.
The Orion is just doing it’s thing.
Nothing else to report
The diary is a bit mess up. The timeline is out by a week on the Jack and 2 weeks on the Orion.
Anyway, Jack is still small but growing and Orion is just getting established.
That’s it 🤷♂️🏼
Letting this grow do it’s own thing. After a very slow start on the Jack, I’m letting it live to see how it grows, and see what I can learn.
Orion F1 is looking strong, and catching up fast.
The Orion f1 is 2 weeks younger than the Jack, but it has caught up in size.
I know the ad says bigger better, faster etc but it’s turning out to be true. I’m actually really impressed with the growth, but I’ll wait to see how it smokes before making a recommendation.
The Jack is a small plant but that’s not an issue. I want to learn from every grow. Maximum yield is not my priority.
Jack is ok, still a little small but doing ok. Interested to see what it produces.
Orion f1 has caught up in size but is nearly three weeks younger so maybe the blur about growing faster is true?
Nice looking plant and it really piles on the growth the day after watering.
I usually LST my plants from week three but these guys are going natural. I want to see what happens, and see if it’s worth the bother.
The more I’m on here, the more I think some of the advise is just urban legend.
The Jack is about two weeks away from harvest. I’ll water tomorrow and make the call if I feed it again.
The Orion f1 is a great plant, living up to the hype.
Leaving the Jack another week as it’s not quite ready for harvest.
The Orion f1 smells super wet and still has a few weeks before it’s ready. Looking forward to this one
Well the Orion F1 caught up with the Jack. They’re both close to harvest but the Orion is 2 weeks younger.
Both are in the final few days before they’re chopped, so looking forward to getting them trimmed for a final weight.
The Jack was a runt but it has thrown up a couple of decent sized buds. If I’m in the same situation with a slow starting plant, I’ll start again unless you have room to spare in your set up.
The Orion is a star ⭐️. Such a sweet smell from week 5 onwards. Nice growth, strong sticky buds. Looking forward to trying this.
