การเจริญเติมโตถือว่าเป็นช่วงสุดท้ายแล้ว เพื่อเตรียมตัวทำดอกการยืดของลำต้นเห็นได้อย่างชัดเจนมากวันละประมาณ 3-5 เซนติเมตร อาจมีการชะงักบางในกรณีที่ตัดแต่งใบออกมาไป แก้ไขโดยการตัดใบออกวันละ 2-3 ใบ เพื่อลดอาการเคลียดของต้นไม้
