I was away for four days from Sunday so gave her a bigger amount of water than I wanted to help her jn the hot weather. She seems to have grown slightly, no more or less than expected at this point to be fair, I'll keep an eyenon her and the weather to ensure she's protected from any bad rain.

Your chicken wire will protect for a bit, but later will be obstacle for side branching. Next time bigger eyes of mesh makes and protection and gives support for sides if they grow through. Interesting strain, i grow it too, good luck !

You could try using organic neem as a natural pesticide it worked good for me against a range of pests, Good luck!
