Your chicken wire will protect for a bit, but later will be obstacle for side branching. Next time bigger eyes of mesh makes and protection and gives support for sides if they grow through.

Well, she's been eaten to fuck this week, I caught a slug on her a few days back too.
Doused the pot and surrounding with diatomaceous earth to try and prevent more visitors.
The bud sites are visible but really underdeveloped, probably more to do with the weather than anything else.
I'll keep her going but next time I think a nicely stocked mini greenhouse is the answer.

You could try using organic neem as a natural pesticide it worked good for me against a range of pests, Good luck!
