cornozito Gorilla Punch and Crystal Meth are doing well, the other two (Strawberry Pie and LSD 25) are struggling. Overall, not a good yield so far.

cornozito I'm a bit disappointed that out of 4 expensive Fastbuds seeds, only 2 have properly germinated. I've already put two more in a glass of water, as I don't have any hopes left for the 2 stunted seeds.

cornozito Today, on June 26th, I increased the Sanlight (24h) to 50% to achieve a DLI of 30 for the big plants; the small ones have a DLI of about 19 at leaf height. For the big ones, I also gave the second round of Biotabs and about 150ml-200ml of water daily, while the small ones get about 50-75ml. It will be interesting to see if the two small ones can handle the DLI amount or if there will be light burn. Otherwise, I will reduce the light amount again. The big ones are on their 19th day, and the small ones are on their 6th day.

cornozito Today I did the last stage of Biotabs for the two big ladies - with orgatrex and bactrex according to the instructions. Everyone except the Strawberry enjoys LST - it works great! Strawberry is a bit short in height - maybe because of the high light amount, since the light is supposed to reach the big ones too. I've readjusted the DLI for the week, the big ones are now getting 40 DLI, while the two small ones are getting about 30 DLI (according to the plan, that's a bit too much, we'll see if they can handle it). I'm really curious to see how far I get with the standard fertilization scheme from the Biotabs starter pack! And now it's time to keep my fingers crossed: I'm going to my girlfriend's for 4 days today, so I've intentionally overwatered the plants a bit (the big ones with about 700 ml of water, the small ones with about 400 ml). Next week we'll see how they did!

cornozito Since I'm going on vacation for three weeks tomorrow, I set up the Autopot system a few days ago. But it just won't work for me: it's overwatering. I've already raised the drainage (about 4cm) in the pot, checked the Aqua Valves for levelness - they don't allow for any dry phase, but always stay at the same height in the water. I guess I'm just too dumb for Autopot. I switched to Blumat yesterday - using the tank from the Autopot. I hope it works better for me. I'm going to connect a Wi-Fi surveillance camera, and a friend will come by in case of emergency to help/water/dry. Fingers crossed that everything works out. I'll have updates and photos in three weeks!

cornozito After three weeks of vacation, I'm back and feeling happy! I checked on them daily from Crete with the WiFi Blink camera and had a friend come by every few days to ventilate and check the smell. She also bravely defoliated the crystal meth - luckily, it went well! The Blumat worked perfectly - if only I had watered the two older plants with it earlier! You never stop learning! The gorilla punch and Crystal meth are now on day 57 since germination and almost ready for harvest (they're showing the first amber-colored trichomes). I've now turned off the Blumat watering for them. Pineapple Express and Strawberry have both reached day 43. I generously defoliated them today so that as much light as possible reaches all the buds. Unfortunately, the Pineapple Express has shot up, and I can't raise the other plants due to the Blumat lines (they're all connected). You can see that the Pineapple has already started to get a bit of light burn (the tips have 80-100 DLI). So, I've now scrogged it and raised the light a bit. This means the Strawberry is only getting between 30 and 35 DLI - but I think it's a good compromise. What I've learned: The two younger strains have grown significantly larger - despite the same fertilization. On one hand, I pushed the last Biotabs fertilization forward by a week due to my vacation (still in week 4, it should have been in week 5), and on the other hand, they received more light because I gave them 40 DLI light two weeks too early according to plan. They handled it well. So, I won't be so cautious with the light amount in the next grow. Preview: I've already put four new seeds in glasses of water today to make optimal use of the tent and light. My next grow report after this one will include the following auto strains: Zkittlez OG (barney's), Super Lemon Haze (greenhouse), LSD 25 (fast buds, third attempt), and Gorilla Cookies (fast buds). I can hardly wait for the harvest - with a report on my Cannatrol as a drying and curing method.

cornozito This week I fertilized for the first time with Biotabs Bio PK Booster. I actually just wanted to work with the Biotabs starter pack and see how far I could get. However, in comparable grow reports, many buds at this stage of flowering already had larger flowers and significantly more frost - hence the upgrade. Additionally, based on a statement from Dr. Autoflower in Mr. Growit's podcast, I raised the lighting without CO2 supplementation from about 600-700 Ppfd to 850-900 Ppfd (over 50 DLI) - for him, this seems to be the healthy maximum before bleaching and light burn damage the harvest. Also, at the beginning of the week, my first dehumidifier from Shinco (SDL 5-10D) finally arrived - a huge relief! Now, in my grow tent, the humidity is stable at 50% at pot height and 45% at the height of the couch. If I'm away for a few days, I can even run the dehumidifier via drainage so that the container doesn't fill up (right now I have to empty it 1-2 times daily). In the first days of the week, both plants stretched a few good centimeters - I used that, as you can see, to weave them into the scrog net. For my first scrog, I think the couch turned out well! Also, now begins the fun game of guessing the harvest: how much will it be dry per plant? My estimate today: Strawberry Pie: 33 grams, Pineapple Express: 42 grams.

Wow!

cornozito The plant handled the high humidity and temperature during flowering really well - it probably would have produced more yield, but it seemed healthy the whole time, got along well with the Blumat system, and the effect really impressed me.

cornozito Managed to get through a heat phase and way too high humidity (often over 70%) during flowering. For the next grow, I've now bought a dehumidifier. Learned: The temperature in the 60x60 tent is hard to control, it rises way too high. This means I always have to keep the tent open and pay special attention to the smells so they don't drift into the stairwell. But it works really well with three doors in between (bathroom door, hallway door, apartment door).

cornozito Oh, I’m so impatient! The Strawberry Buds have become much rounder and denser in the last week, and the first amber trichomes are showing. However, I estimate that they can still ripen for at least another one to two weeks - and hopefully gain some good weight as well. The Pineapple Express is showing signs of stress - this is probably due to slight over-fertilization (13ml instead of 10ml P K Booster from Biotabs), as well as light burn. This week, I followed Dr. Autoflower's advice and gave them an incredible 900 PPFD 18/24. While the Strawberry from Fast Buds has handled both the light and the fertilization quite well, it seems that the Pineapple Express from Barney's has definitely had too much of a good thing. Therefore, I’ve dimmed the Sanlight from 100% to 84% and will skip the planned PK Booster fertilization for this week. When the Pineapple Express will be ready for harvest is a mystery to me - I only discovered the first trichomes yesterday (Day 54) 🤔 I hope it will be ready to shave in two to three weeks - fingers crossed! 🙏

cornozito Besides the fact that it's clearly autumn with Pineapple Express, not much has changed since last week. The trichomes are already amber in some spots, so a harvest is likely in the next few days. I plan to leave them for another 5-7 days without watering. For me, simultaneous drying is particularly important since I'm using Cannatrol, and the drying phases in the cabinet work best when they run at the same time (you can't put fresh plants in with already cured ones in the cabinet - you'd have to store the already finished buds outside the cabinet each time until the drying phase (about 4 days) is complete. Two Cannatrols would be amazing, but the price and the lack of space in my apartment made the decision for me. It's already crazy enough that I had the Cannatrol cabinet delivered from the U.S. for 2000 euros. However, the results so far are impressive! I'm curious to see what Cannatrol will do with the Strawberry and the Pineapple Express. The weight of the wet harvest drops by about 80% in the cabinet. Easy to calculate...😜

cornozito I didn't water for the last 5 days before the harvest this time, so the plant is already pre-dried. I'm curious how much dry weight will be left from the 53 grams. And of course, looking forward to the vaping!

cornozito I didn't water for the last 5 days before the harvest (just like Sanlight does in their lab grows). It smelled really strong like hay in the tent after three days. Let's see if I messed up the terpenes or if it has a good effect on the harvest. I'm surprised at how few and small trichomes the Pineapple Express produced - compared to the Fast Buds seeds. I'm curious about the effect!
