i did water glass method last time and didnt wait for it to crack but 48hours and put in germ trays with soil mix. once there were bigger i transplanted but lost 2, so im going with paper towel waiting for a tail and then straight into 5gal containers.
all 3 seeds sprouted but i can't afford to expand my tent at the moment so two of them im gonna sprout a bit and take outside to my deck with just supplemental lights. im at the beginning of season still they/she should be fine and im curious to see how they do side by side. i'll start a second diary for the outside growers.
the one is growing way faster, it is in different soil too tho. Miracle-Gro potting soil no-less! im ashamed yet the thing is growing like crazy. the other is having issues and had soem rusting real bad and i think a nutrient burn as well but she healed up, you'll see in next weeks pics. Just ;lost my dog so been behind on posting here ;(
The (Miracle Grow) one (which is honestly my shame, ive always been told to stay away from all miracle grow stuff but it was emergency use) IS doing amazing. the colors are great the stem on her is like a fucking oak, she's got such great potential for topping but ive never done it and im hoping anyone with exp. will take a look and tell me if i should, i'd get a bigger tent or take the other one out to help her if so. Ms. Walmart bag healed up nicely and strong after i gave her a little lattice help and lowered the light a bit.
