Day 1: Started germination of two seeds in cup of water. Transferred to paper towel in the evening.
Day 2: Both seeds have sprouted little taproots! Gonna plant them tomorrow.
Day 3: Planted both seeds in moist soil, covered with saran wrap and placed in dark closet
Day 5: Both seeds have sprouted, started lights at 28" distance with a 12/12 schedule. One plants cotyledons were stuck closed by the seed membrane, but after pulling it off by hand they opened.
Day 7: Both plants getting kinda long so lowered the lights to 20" and upped the schedule to 18/6. Soil was getting very dry under the light so I watered them a little
Day 8: Both plants growing second pair of true leaves, stems are still kinda long and leggy
Day 9: With the current light schedule I think they stopped growing so long. Added about two centimeters to each pot, plants are now 4 and 5 centimeters
Day 10: The girls stopped getting any longer, but the leaves are getting nice and big, so I think I hit the right distance for the LED
Day 12: Watered the girls again, they seem to be drinking a lot. I'm going away for a few days, but the roots are already poking out of the bottom of the little pot. Hopefully they'll last another 6 days if watered enough
Day 16: Still away, but my wife says plants are looking good. She watered them again today. Gonna transfer to bigger pot on day 19 when i get back
Day 19: Transplanted both platns to 12l pots and fed them 2 liters of water each. I'm using a soil mix that contains nutrients now, so I won't be feeding them any extra for a while.
Day 21: Both girls really seemed to be liking their new pots. Since one was a bit closer to the lamp we did some LST on her.
The plant that was LSTed seemed to recover quickly and take a liking to it. The taller of the two quadrupled in size from 4 to 17 cm in the last week!
Some leaves are showing a bit of nutrition burn at the tips, but I'm not too worried since the plants look healthy. Been getting a lot of fungus gnats even though I only watered once this week, gonna have to try some neem oil.
Both plants are budding nicely, the taller one started a bit earlier which is why it shot up first. Still hoping the smaller colas on the LST plant will catch up.
Got rid of the gnats by watering less and putting some fly traps on the pots.
I've been able to cool the night and day temps down, so hopefully they'll be smelling stronger and start turning purple
Week starting off good. The girls were growing a bit slower at first, I think because of some noob mistakes I made. A friend came by and was pretty sure i had overwatered. He taught me better now. Also, left the window open one day, and the temp went down to 17°. I think they recovered now but i don't think the main stems will growing much more.
Buds are looking good. Growth has pretty much stopped, the plant is concentrating mostly on bud now. The self-release nutrients from the soil should run out soon, so i added some low N high P nutrients.
Last Week before i harvest one of the two plants. The other plant still needs at least another week and isn't looking great :(. Leaves are all yellowing and a lot have already shrivelled off. It looks like nitrogen defficiency and it seems like the canna terra flores doesn't have enough nitrogen to correct the problem. I'll get some high N nutrient for the next grow in case I run into the same problem.
Good, strong sutff! I have some more seeds and will grow them soon for sure! Even though my inexperience led to me overwatering the plants i still fo 10g per plant which I am happy with, considering it's my first grow. The high is awesome, more of a midday strain, smoking it too late will put you you to sleep. Perfect for sitting around with good friends and watching a funny movie.
