Getting started with my first try at growing! Chose the paper towel method, and after they (hopefully) sprout, theyll be transferred to small plastic containers filled with Whitney Farms organic and natural seed starting mix until they are big enough to be tranferred to the large fabric pots. Planning to use a nutrient rich soil-coco mix at that point.
Definitely new to all of this. Made a few rookie mistakes, but nothing too detrimental. Im learning so much about the whole process! Hadn't known to fully moisten the medium before planting the germinated seeds, so they started off somewhat stunted from underwatering. I quickly fixed that with more water, but soon ran into overwater within a few days after. Sensitive little things, aren't they? 😊Starting to find a nice balance in watering routines and the gals are perking back up nicely! I should have all the nutrients they need in the starting mix, so ill hold off on nutrient additives until veg. This is pretty quickly becoming a passion project for me, and im very excited to see how they turn out! Any advice and tips are very welcome, thanks for tagging along for the grow~
So far so good. Tried a nutrient solution, and they seemed to like it. Might have almost been too much, but they had a growth spurt shortly after. Also dealing with little bugs coming out of the dirt unfortunately, but they dont seem to be going after the plants. The traps are doing good on that front. Probably going to need to transplant soon-ish!
