7 June - started unknown indica germination 11 June - started known seeds 12 June - first unknown indica popped above soil line 13 June - another three popped above soil line 13 June - known seeds popped 14 June - known seeds put into pot with soil 15 June - turned up veg lights as noticed seedlings not greening up and stretching a bit. Put to hang height of 60cm, 3/4 turn of light intensity on dial. Put from 18/6 to 20/4 to compensate. Also temps getting low down to 15 and below - going to get an oil heater for night usage. 16 June - Also turned up heat mat 5 deg c to compensate and soil temp reaching 23 deg approx and ambient down to 17-19. So haven't bothered with an oil heater yet. Turned light dial a litte higher - about 4/5th's. Culled a few of the unknown weaker indica seedlings. 17 June - Biscotti Mintz above the soil line. 1st of the known seeds to make it and looking strong! Misting seedlings and using a humidifier to help raise humidity. Started to use fan as well to help get more air movement and to strengthen stems. 18 June - Strawberry Glue just behind Biscotti Mintz - Mintz is a proper seedling and erect now. Existing unknown indica varieties growing well under current light conditions.

Week 1: Day: UI: 11/1st: 8 Starting veg now with most having germinated above soil line. :) 21 June - everything looking good, humidity sitting @70% and soil temp 23, tent temp 17-21 ish. Anxiously waiting for the last three known seeds to pop above soil line! 22 June - installed camera to track progress. Warmer few nights and days coming due to overcast weather so temp of soil and air gone up. Soil temp 24 deg c so keeping an eye doesn’t go too high. Waiting for remaining known seeds to pop above soil line. Every seedling thriving otherwise! Watered seedling with hydrogen periodise to keep away fungi/bacteria. 23 June - further good progress with seedlings. temp and humidity perfect. Hydrogen peroxide applied 3% to seedlings not yet above soil line to prevent rot. Fingers crossed…nervous they won’t come above. 25 June - final day of week one veg and no sign of final three seeds coming above soil line sadly. Not giving up hope just yet. Other plants looking good but interestingly Strawberry glue bending over oddly but looks healthy otherwise.

Week 2 (Day: UI: 18/1st: 15/2nd: 1) 26 June - discovered Granddaddy Purple, Tropicana Banana and Runtz Muffin seeds are rotten. Must have been overwatered. Very upset with myself. RE-TRYING: have wet kitchen roll wrapped all three new seeds today. 27 June - watered all plants soil. Misted plants. 28 June - planted now germinated Tropicana Banana and Runtz Muffin. Misted plants. 29 June - Humidity dropping to 60 so turned humidifier on. Granddaddy Purple germed and planted. That’s all 5 again! 30 June - newly germ seeds making progress. See photos. Good progress. Final three seeds germinated looking strong and hopefully above soil by next week! UI boosting now, known seeds slow (overwatered?) but getting there👍🏻 1 July - wanting to improve air flow - soon going to move grow from the ‘veg’ to the ‘flower’ tent until T4 100m AC Infinity fan arrives for the veg tent (4 weeks approx). My T6 fan is set up and ready to go in the flower tent. Isolating fan I had bought unfortunately not working so in the meantime also bought a AC Infinity oscillating fan as can power down low for seedlings in veg tent! Will hopefully get it in a few days. Also, getting cable ties to improve electrical power board position management - that is not sitting on floor. 2 July - temps around 19 deg C. Trying to raise and figure out how. Have upped heat mat level to 4. Monitoring roots won’t get too hot.

Week 3: 25/22/8 3 July - watered all plants as were starting to wilt - had overwatered prior so now I now I can start fresh. Tropicana Banana emerged above soil line! 4 July - Trop banana making progress as is Runtz Muffin - seems to be getting above soil level. Heat mat at lvl 4 working nicely to maintain 19+ deg C room temp. New AC ossilating fan arrived today - excited to set up tomorrow and probably move whole grow in there. 5 July - checked on germinating seeds. Tropicana banana looking good. Runtz muffin okay. G daddy purple rotten. Learnt I need more airflow - sucks my fan hadn’t worked but lesson learnt that I always need one! Moved everything into flower tent because it has the inline fan. Everything watered well. 6 July - all doing well. Temps a little lower than ideal. 7 July - temps better now as warmer outside from being overcast? 8 July - all plants watered. Leaves had been slowly drooping and watered few days back. temps still good now. Level 3 on heat mat working well. Plants growing very fast! Runtz Muffin heading in the right direction. Bizarre how the root went up then down (why delayed?). Maybe got nudged on germ? Plants have a small aroma now like green pepper! Deciding on what week to flower them. Probably 6 weeks so the others have a chance to catch up! Also deciding on pot size and how to work it. 9 July - leaves started to drop very far down AM but PM improving. Further improvements in Runtz.

Week 4: (32/29/15) July 10 - After a stressed 24 hrs of not knowing if I overwatered - I turned up airflow and seemed to have helped. Bounced back! Will probably repot UI plants end of the week. July 11 - doing well. Further less wilting & stems thickening! July 12 - further progress. Cut leaf off Lina - the one I accidentally broke July 13 - wilting plants! When assessed quite dry - watered all plants. Temp mat reduced from level 3 to 2 as lvl 3 was sitting at 30 deg C whereas lvl 2 sits at 25 Deg C. Wilting must’ve dried out plants but also just way too warm for root system? Light intensity lowered a little bit to aid in reducing stress. By end of the day plants were much happier. July 14 - plants further improving. Light turned up to maximum level now at same 60cm height as quite confident overheating root issue. July 15 - further improvement. July 16 - all watered. Looking better every day now. July 17 - making good progress. Defoliated bottom leaves without any light on them. Need to look into LST/mainlining.

Week 5: July 17 - making great progress. Need to feed and repot - plants going a little pale and roots showing from bottom of pots. Need to top a couple of the UI to help bush out. Maybe need to consider LST as well once in new pots? July 18 - all throughly watered with green fertiliser as leaves pale green on some plants and no feeding had been done until now July 19 - growing fast July 20 - happy! July 21 - watered PM w/ organic nutes before day trip away tomorrow. July 22 - looking good - reaching to light again nicely. July 23 - watered PM w/organic nutes after being Transplanted. Was bone dry despite watering on Friday! Should’ve transplanted 1-2 weeks ago! Thinking i should water every 48 hours at this stage.

Week 6: 24 July - air temp has been so cold!! 16-18 deg C but plants seem happy post transplant. Have Biscotti minz & largest UI some more water as looked a little limp. Fan turned to 5/10 intensity to reduce any over water issues but I believe that’s what they need as we’re bone dry 24hrs ago. Also to help airflow! 25 July - low temps. Down to 15 deg C. Plants seem happy! 26 July - despite low temperatures, everything is still growing! 27 July - got a heater as remote just too low 28 July - temps much better! 1.5hrs on&off during light cycle 29 July - topped all. All watered (I think). 30 July - dehumidifier in tent now, so using less heater as lower humidity. Keeping it around 63% approx, on 60% hum mode on dehumidifier, so pretty good. Putting on heater for 15 mins every 2hrs approx to keep temps up. Looking good! Aiming ultimately: 21 deg C, 60% humidity, 1.0VPD

Week 7: Another week to learn so much! Now using dehumidifier set at 60% (63% reality @20 deg C) but a game changer! 31 July - LST! Better late than never. All plants watered approx 1L each. 1 Aug - installed new AC Infinity exhaust fan! Temps too cold to use…using oscillating fan to get air movement. 2 August - Smaller pot plants watered. Seemed dry. Dehumidifier working wonderfully but temps getting low again so having just got an InkBird temp regularly which I’ve hooked up to my oil heater. Set to turn on at 17 deg C and to heat until 20 deg C. Working well! Just don’t want temps getting too low. LST adjustments made and looking AMAZING! So bushy! So happy. :) 3 August - further progress! 4 August - got new quieter & more energy efficient dehumidifier but takes too long to make changes. (Flux from 40-70 humidity when set to 60% humidity!). Will experiment with a couple things on it but otherwise might either return it or get an InkBird humidity controller and set as constant so faster reaction? 5 August - AMAZED BY MORPHOLOGY CHANGE IN JUST 5 DAYS!! all plants watered thoroughly, no feed this time to avoid too much as leaves looking very dark. LST adjustments done. As discussed yesterday: - 1st test: set to 55% humidity. To see if picks up higher humidity earlier but hopefully not drop any lower on lower end!. Test result: no success. Too slow to respond to highs and lows. - 2nd test: using basic on mode to see if brings humidity down fast enough. Result: yes, fast and can on and off no problems. Therefore, could get InkBird humidity controller and use that? Will do a 3rd test tomorrow to see if dehumidifier can be turned on/off using such a device by simulating it on the heat controller I already have! Stay tuned for results! :D 6 August - 3rd test and SUCESS! temp controller was able to turn dehumidifier on and off fully automated so very happy - getting an InkBird humidity controller tomorrow as a result to dial the humidity in better since built in humidity sensor too slow to change resulting in slow changing 20% swings. KILLED one suspected male plant. Funny how I called it a ’sativa looking’ one from early veg and sure enough male (99.9% sure!) - see photos. Happy I picked up on it early. - thinking about flipping end of next week as environment is dialled in nicely, plants looking happy. Desperate to start the countdown! Will defoliate a little more next week before flipping (cutting low lying leaves with no light exposure).

Week 8: 7 August - Minor LST adjustments. 8 August - Great progress. Thinking about taking cuttings for clones before flipping start of next week. 1st time cloning, wish me luck. Trop Ban a little behind (2 weeks) so might wait to flip it? Will top on 6th rather than 5th node? 9 August - watered all plants just over 1L each with 1ml/L feed. Maybe less than needed but want to go lower than higher and see how the plants respond. Worried about over feeding. New humidity controller works perfectly (see photos). Temp and humidity being controlled so well now. Confident to flip soon. 10 August - I f*cked up. Snapped Trop Banana (already 2 weeks behind) in HALF trying to adjust LST. Was catching up so well…Luckily I’ll just vege it out longer since 3 nodes high…as essentially topped but very upset. Stuck the top into a cloner. 1st time cloning so a little pessimistic but we’ll see. Everything else is going well!! 11 August - clone progressing well , as are all the plants. 12 August - all watered. Defoliated plants today. Much more space now! Will hopefully help positive growth. Overall fantastic growth still. Trop Ban clone doing extremely well and no wilting at all. Misting daily with clone starter spray. Topping up with root strim & H2O2 every second day. 13 August - Looking good after defoliating. Was initial droop but all bounced back in 2 hours. Additional LST training done for Lina (strongest UI) & Biscotti Mintz. Thinking about taking clones this weekend before flipping next (due to time when away coinciding with harvest time). Some white edges to new growth on Biscotti Mintz. Unsure as to why but seems healthy otherwise!

Hey BluffGrow, No need to worry about. I already know your grow an commented it a few days ago haha nice - just the normal way as the plant develops. Depending on genetics it could be sometimes more sometimes less. You can as well check if you have right ph - in your case in soil you should aim 6.3-6.5 to get no nutrients lockout through wrong ph level. If you got further questions feel free to send me DM - I am always happy to help :) Good Luck and have fun

Week 9! Would have flipped last week but due to timing of being away delaying another week. 14 August - LST’d Straw Glue branches. 15 August - watered all plants at 5ml/L flower feed. Will use that from now on as higher P amounts. Each plant received about 1-1.5L water each. LST’d another plant’s branches. One to go! Repotted a UI from a 3 Gal to 5 Gal. Learnt really tough to do since way to root stuck to inside of the pot. Let’s see how it handles the stress of being repotted as it was rough. Added myocorrizae to help. Also applied 1/4 cup superposphate to all plants since have learnt probably a little deficient due to liquid feed being low in P. Also, sprayed with trace elements as a foiler spray - 20ml/L. Used 50ml approx for the 6 plants. Wiped tent surface down with tissue to avoid fungal disease. Re sprayed clone with clone spray. Clone was having new growth leaves curling up - have moved further from light as thinking light stress. 16 August - looking good! Will LST UI transplant tomorrow (give it another day to recover). 17 August - watered 4ml/L feed + 20ml trace elements + 10ml magnesium + did ph testing which came to about 7.5-8.5. Used ph down 2ml for 5L jug (0.4ml/L). Brought it down to 7-8 ish so happy with that but might try 3ml to see if more ideal 6.5-7ph next feed. Just want to see if plants react harshly or something. LST’d final UI. 18 August - making progress. LST’d UI has done well. Changed water in clone station. 19 August - Tropicanna Banana transplanted (painfully as roots full in 3 gal pot) into new 5 gal pot (actually 30L as only closes size to other plants available in local grow shop). Learnt a lot in the process so far... Added more fert and gypsum (for calcium - mainly - and sulphur). Going to grab some epsom salts soon too for magnesium and will top dress all plants. Top dressed all plants with gypsum today (1/2 cup each). Not sure if added previous but all plants received 1/2 cup of P-rock as well a few days ago. Watered trop ban with seaweed infused solution too. All watering as of yesterday as being ph’d to 6.5-7. 2ml/5L jug of phdown being used. (Tap water comes out 8ph approx). 20 August - all plants watered (other than Trop ban as done yesterday) with 1L each, 5ml/L fruit liquid feed. Top dressed all plants with 1/2 cup epsom salts.

Week 10. End of this week I’m flipping as timing will work well with my holiday. 21 August - tried to fix irrigation on dehumidifier. Let’s see if it’s worked tomorrow. Everything looking good. Trop ban boosting and Biscotti Mintz genetics shining through and BOOSTING! 22 August - looking good. Got a propagation tent & light ready for cloning & germinating new seeds this weekend! Also testing rockwool & peat tabs. Plants measure 30 high, 50 wide. 23 August - all plants watered with 5ml/L grow feed & 3ml/L Seasol seaweed. 1.5L per plant. Used to do 1L but doesn’t seem enough now! Looking great. 24 August - doing well. LST’d trop ban. 25 August - all looking good. Germinating seeds and sorting clones tomorrow. 26 Aug - clones taken. Seperate diary started for them & some seeds. 10am-6pm sleep time (16/8) done. 27 Aug - in flower tent & under flower lights now. Day time set to go off 10pm just tonight (so lights will be on only 4 hours and then off until 10am - first 12 hour dark cycle - commencing flowering Monday morning! :) Nervous about this flowering stage but let’s do it! Need to LST again - will do tomorrow! Light set to 60% as 100% = 1000ppfd middle and previous veg light = 600ppfd middle so seemed a good way to start. Measured 45cm from canopy.

1st Week of Flowering! 28 Aug - first 10am-10pm (12hr) cycle today, having had a shorter light period yesterday to adjust to 10-10. LST’d most plants - reminding ones tomorrow will be done. Drying out pots as felt like was overwatering - will monitor wilting and water tomorrow evening but hopefully won’t suffer too much. High temps with LED’s at 60% intensity today. Turned to 70% tonight as need to lower hanging height having LST’d but didn’t want to upset plants in dark cycle as too late (lights off). Will turn back to 60% and drop to 45cm having seen canopy adjust to LST. 29 Aug - all plants watered w/2ml/L seaweed & 3ml/L flower powerfeed. Learning to control humidity & temps. All progressing. More LST done today but forgot an overall picture! Biscotti Mintz showcasing its strong genetics. 30 Aug - going well! 31 Aug - turned lights from 70-%50 as maybe, maybe(?) too intense…just felt instinctively to do so. No yellowing but don’t look 110%? 1 Sept - all watered w/ 3ml/L liquid feed, 1L each. Also raised lights a little (5cm) to get better coverage. Looking good. 2 Sept - going well. Seems like plants enjoying 50% light @50cm approx. 3 Sept - progressing further. Moved plants 5-10cm closer to tent door so far plant was under light a bit more so more even. Will maybe up light to 60% commencing week 2 of flower tomorrow. Will water tomorrow having top dressed with organic dry medium bloom nutes to help keep P levels up since low in Powerfeed I’m using.

Week two of flowering! Can’t believe how much they’ve grown in one week! 4 Sept - all watered with 3ml/L of seaweed and 3ml/L Powerfeed given, @ just over 1L per plant. 1/3 cup of bloom booster on top soil added. Light turned up to 60% now. 5 Sept - some lower smaller flower defoliation. Will do a few fan leaves tomorrow, mainly on Straw Glue as covering flowering sites. Will adjust some LST tomorrow too. 6 Sept - all going well. Tucked some SG fan leaves. 7 Sept - watered with only plain water. 1.5L each. 8 Sept - just raised height of grow lights a bit to stay 45cm from average height. 9 Sept - fantastic progress. Gets a little hot during day time - sorting! Also, overnight lows of 14 degrees at the moment. 10 Sept - all watered 2ml/L nutes & 1-1.5L each. Doing very well. Flowers really showing now. Light intensity turned up to 70%.

Flowers forming, stems thickening and stretching big time! Sept 15 - progressing nicely but down to 13-14 deg C at night Sept 16 - watered this AM 2ml/L seaweed, Powerfeed & 3ml/L Guano at 1.5-2L/plant everything progressing very well. Sept 17 - trimmed plants a bit today. Just getting rid of lower small flowers & a few dodgy looking/getting in the way fans.

Major morphological changes being observed still. Stretch & bud thickening occurring. Sept 18 - looking good. Hairy hairy buds! Sept 19 - all watered with nutes 2ml/L all. 1.5L each. Sept 20 - looking great, sticky colas when handling, smelling noticeably when opening the tent now & Lina’s hairs starting to brown off. Subtle purple colours are popping on some cola’s - notably BM & TB. Scrog’d them. Need to find out how to make it square and less bowed in..I’m guessing poles or bungee cord? 21 Sept - doing well. 22 Sept - all watered, 2L each w/ bud burst @ 3ml/L and in total 1/2 cup of molasses for 10L. 23 - all good 24 - looking great!

support poles the only way to avoid it. and old tent lying around of same size? maybe go buy some cheap metal tubs or some angled aluminum (angle is more rigid than flat aluminum), pvc (will still bend a bit). bamboo stakes (will bend a bit) the last couple bend a bit but won't be nearly as much.

8th week of flower! On holiday still. GF doing a great job watering them! 16 Oct - watered and all looking awesome. GF commented without asking how they’re fattening/thickening up! Lots of beautiful colours very apparent on Biscotti now!

9th and probably final week of flower. Will check trichomes when home from holiday this Friday. GF has done a great job of keeping them alive. Colder nights have allowed biscotti to beautifully express its purple colours! 28 October - finished. Have also dry hung. Will weigh dry after 7+ days of hanging dry @ 51%(+<4%) RH and 15-20 deg C. Fans on indirect at 3/10 level. Exhaust and intake on 3/10 level too. Currently drying - will update once smoked/consumed. This week, no nutes were added other than molasses to give the plants a little final boost! Watering every 3 days still so last water Wednesday for a Friday harvest (if all goes to plan).

It grew very & bushy and with too many fan leaves, not so much branching or thickness. Small internodal space. Okay flower production overall at harvest time but all dense which made up for that. Will weigh dry after 7+ days of hanging dry @ 51%(+

Very impressed. Massive buds despite the fact I butched the LST mid-veg, snapping it down to the 3rd node!! Caught up with the rest and more. Low aroma. Thick full flowers.

Absolutely love the colours. Deep purples all over - gorgeous! The aroma is outstandingly strong; minty, sweet and refreshing. Grew very easily. A very strong pheno/strain. Has brought a lot of joy! VERY UNIQUE.

S2 seed, fantastic growth genetics and lemon-skunky smell but unfortunately both mildly hermaphrodised. I suspect I may find some seeds in the bud. Won’t grow again due to consistent hermie genes.

@BudBoutique, how do you think I’m doing now? :)

@BudBoutique, thanks for your reply! :) Yes I was inspired by your post to try LST having topped my plants and wow I’ve seen a huge morphology change in just 5 days. Was initially nervous to do but I’ve had no problems and so happy with the results. Uploaded my latest update photos above. 💪🏻 Thank you. 😍😊🙏🏻

@SqwshKush, nice one. Yeah LST is a good start to learn how they plants react to it and working. But I would recommend always do some LST - its really worth it :) U can also think about topping and LST (bending main branch to one side) that the side branches can follow up the others and u got two new main tops instead of one. You can check out my current grow how I did this f.e.

@Herbie101, right! 😍 Very lucky to have such a selection, just fingers crossed they get to me! Yeah I thought it’d be fun and interesting to see what affects differing CBD content ratios have as I’ve never experienced a CBD ‘high’ (or even a 1:1 ratio). I also got the chocolate strain for baking some chocolaty goods. If all goes well I’ll also try to breed them all to get more seeds and then have fun crossing a bit!

@SqwshKush, Thats a very interesting variety! I love that you experiment with different cbd contents!

@Herbie101, yes! six in total. (But will probably not grow all at once). One CBD-only, one 1:1 CBD-THC strain and rest THC dominant. - Royal Queen Seeds Joannes CBD - T H Seeds S.A.G.E. CBD - Royal Queen Seeds Chocolate Haze - Barneys Farm Seeds Mimosa x Orange Punch - Barneys Farm Seeds Runtz Muffin - Barneys Farm Seeds Triple Cheese
