HoffmanShulgin Hey friends! It's been a week since I started a new cycle with the seeds. I wanted to check the germination of the seeds and started with 15 of them. I submerged them in water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide and left them in a dark place at a temperature of 26 degrees. After 10 hours, I planted them in coco coir and placed them in a germinator under constant light. After 6 days, all 15 plants have emerged from the soil! Now I've transplanted them all into a pot, aiming to keep only the strongest plant in the end. This time, I want to use the mainlining technique. Join me and watch the growth of my Northern Lights.

However, they’re still growing, just not as fast as I’d like. I’m doing some selection and picking the strongest plant. You can already see the favorites.

HoffmanShulgin Friends, I'm still selecting the strongest plant to carry out the mainlining in the future. Something went wrong and my plants showed signs of incorrect feeding. I corrected the solution by reducing the concentration of fertilizers. For a good selection, I removed the plants that had low growth and showed more signs of problems, leaving only the healthiest and strongest ones. Next week, I think the finalist will be defined and I will finally be able to move on to the mainlining technique.

HoffmanShulgin I'm excited to report that the selection of the plants is complete! There's one plant that has outperformed its 14 competitors and keeps growing. So I waited for the plant to grow to 5 "levels," although it ended up being a bit taller, but that's not a problem. We cut the tip above the third level and completely cleaned the plant up to the third level. The results are in the photos. Now I'm waiting for the branches I left to grow to develop 3 nodes between them.

HoffmanShulgin After topping, the plant recovered pretty quickly from the stress and developed new nodes. I'm still waiting for the branches to grow with 6 nodes between them so I can move on to the next stage of training.

After the pruning, the plant will switch to the flowering period. I'm eagerly waiting for this moment, as I love the mainlining technique and it produces amazing results.

HoffmanShulgin Hello everyone! Today I continued shaping the plant according to my needs. I cut the main shoots and left only the side ones. Now I have a total of 8 branches. The plant feels a bit off after the stress, but that's normal. I'm waiting for the branches I left to grow so I can continue shaping the desired structure.

HoffmanShulgin Look how beautiful the plant's crown looks! 8 branches are growing quickly and healthily, but two of them have stopped growing. This happened because the other six were a bit higher and were receiving more nutrients. However, it's nothing serious. Today I bent the branches so that the two shorter ones are at the same height as the others and can catch up with their companions along the way. We're excited to see how they progress!

I also added more phosphorus to the fertilizer to stimulate flowering. There have been pests on the plant, fungus gnats. The plant's growth has slowed down because of this. I've set up traps to catch them and I hope they work. For now, it's just a matter of watching how the buds mature.

HoffmanShulgin Hey everyone! My plant is in the final stage of flowering. The leaves have started to yellow since the plant is no longer using nitrogen. At this flowering stage, I've stopped using fertilizers and have kept the PK13/14 to boost the phosphorus content, which is crucial at this stage. The bad news is that the gnats that have settled on the plant are slowing down its development, and the results might not be the best. To combat these gnats, I'm only using sticky traps since it's too late to use chemicals. Well, we'll see what results I get in the end.

HoffmanShulgin Hey! It's the last week before the harvest. During this week, I'm just giving water, without any other type of supplements, to flush out the fertilizers. I'm excited for the harvest! The flies, of course, have caused a lot of damage, but I still believe the plant will produce good results.

HoffmanShulgin Hello everyone! My grow has come to an end. The plant grew well. There were no problems or diseases. The only thing that worries me is the gnats that settled in the substrate and the plant didn't reach its full potential. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I plan to keep growing seeds from this brand.
