I had intended to do drain to waste with this run but decided on installing another XL Autopot System.
The fabric pots base diameter was too big to fit directly into the Autopot bases so I dropped the fabric pots into the 25L XL pots and pushed them down until the bottom was deep enough to wick up the nute solution .
Before I switched on their res I flushed thoroughly with pH5.8 water and brought the nutes back in at 5.8 because the run off was a little too high .
I am doing a little experiment with this run and I haven't added a recirculation pump to the Autopot Res... I'm using a 200L/h air pump instead with both ports joining in a single outlet with dual air stones in the res
The other res for my Fast Buds, Bsf, Barney's Farm, and Kannabia has a recirculation pump with air stones in their pot bases .
I want to see which method is the best .
I'm also experimenting with Audio Stimulation techniques, namely Sonic Bloom developed by Dan Carlson and Kyminasi developed by Fulvio Balmelli.
I'm playing an eclectic mixture of Classical music, 60-70s Rock & Roll and 80s Synth
Absolutely mind blowing growth explosion this week !!!
Their root systems have obviously hit the Autopot Bases and they have exploded in height and mass
Easily tripled their week 2 heights
What a difference a week makes !!!
I'm kind of surprised that they are as huge, healthy and vigorous as they are because all of them are under only 1 Mars Hydro TSL2000.
Aeration of the Res must be paying dividends !!!
Had issues with pH so I lowered the res pH to 5.0 to get the bases to the sweet spot between 5.8 and 6.2
Moon-Berry Pie and Pink Apple Soda are now as big as my other grow and they were germinated 1 week after !!!
Still playing music for them every time I'm in the grow room ... I don't know if it's the Audio Stimulation or the Aeration of the res ... but they are absolutely thriving and gaining inches daily !!!
Moon-Berry Pie especially, leaves me speechless ... Her growth has been MASSIVE
