06/20/2023, 11:00pm planted 8 seeds into 8x 5 gallon fabric pots. Only used about 3.5gal of space per pot.
Soil: 4 cubic feet of Coast of Maine - Stonington Blend, with one inch top layer of Coast of Maine - Seed starter mix
07/28/2023, Day 1 of week 3 Flower. They all are looking pretty good and all seem to have identical phenotypes except the 7th plant (bottom right) which is a lot more indica looking with fatter leaves.
08/04/2023, Day 1 of Week 4 Flower. Flower stretch phase has completed and the tallest plant is 48in tall. I removed a plant due to stunted growth (the one with fat leaves), 6 plants remain.
Watering every other watering with nutrients, straight RO in between. Watering is every 3 days.
Hi there. Cool name. Another similarity is house and garden nutrients. I have just bought the roots excellurator, bud XL, top booster and top shooter. I'd like to hear your thoughts on these products and the best way to use them. I am indoor in a tent and with Coco as a medium for the majority with one in DWC . So any help or advice you have I'd love to hear and if I can return the favour any way I can I will. Good luck
@SkunkleDamo, Hi Damo, sure! Yeah H&G is kind of technical stuff. But for the most part it's a excellent product. First is I will tell you what I don't use from them. I don't use Amino Extract, Algen Extract or Top Shooter. Amino and Algen are good but I don't use them because it colors the water too much to tell what the results of a PH test are. The Top Shooter I would never use on Cannabis, what it does is it can cause huge foxtails.
If you're using coco only I would use Coco A&B, I use Soil A&B because I use potting soil. Make sure to supplement your RO water with at the least 3ml per gal of Cal-Mag Plus.
Go to H&G and use there calculator to determine your cannabis itinerary, Now here comes the tricky parts lol. IF your flowering time is 55 days input in the calculator Flower 8 weeks. Keep in mind also to count the days once you see a white pistil, 55 days from than you will harvest.
Use only 75% of nutrient strength per gal i.e if it calls for 15ml per gal only use 11ml. Do this for just the Coca A&B or Soil A&B not for the other smaller nutrients. 5gal fabric pots hold moisture for about 4 days. If your doing DWC use 50% nutrient strength because that's from their hydroponic line of nutrients. Also don't forget to use Drip Clean with the coco/soil based mediums, It's very important. When you water the soil/coco make sure to have run-off from the bottom, for example my current Diary (G.S Cookies) gets 1gal each per my 4 gal fabric pots and I'm currently watering them every 4 days. When doing watering's I use straight RO every "Third" watering. And lastly make sure your nutrient solution is PH of 6.2
In regards to your lighting make sure to use appropriate LUX. Get a cheap LUX meter from Amazon this is very important.
Seedling(s): 9-15k
Veg: 15-25k
Flower: 30-45k (I do 40k until the bud is fully formed than I do 45k)
Try not to go over 55k LUX while in Flower, It could bleach your buds and also possibly give you foxtails especially with LED's. Not good...
Temps: Don't go over 84f in your grow area. 76-79f is ideal during the day.
Humidity: I set mine to 40%, I use a controller controlling 2 1gal fog/mist humidifiers. Do not go below 35% humidity.
Wind/Breeze/Air Flow: "Wind" can ruin everything.... Always use a oscillating fan, do NOT put a fan directly on them it will cause Wind Burn, this one thing ruined 2 plants from my first Diary. I thought it was at first too much water than too much nutrients than I eventually figured it out. Just make sure the plants jiggle ever so slightly at the least every 10 seconds. What I do is I stand there stare at a plant and watch and wait for it to barely jiggle.
I hope this helps and good luck :)

@damianfox, Humboldt has some good looking stuff. I think it’s lemon pound cake that I want to grow and see just how big of colas one can actually grow lol
@FrontRowAG_BrianG, Thanks! Yes soon it will be done :) My next grow is already ready and it will be 2 at once, I doubled my equipment. Spoiler alert lol! It's going to be *Mountaintop Mint & Jelly Donutz* :)
Man, your grow has me really excited since I’m growing this strand right now. I don’t have the lighting and experience you do but seeing the potential of my plants is awesome and has me really excited.
@MrLahey, Thanks! It's all still in jars and I tell you what lol the smell coming from the sealed jars is amazing! I didn't think 'Ball jars with airtight lids could smell so much. They've been curing in the jars for two weeks now. I actually started smoking it after they first dried for 10 days and it's pretty good! :)
