BlackCat I hard a hard time getting the El Fuego seeds to pop. These seem like sensitive seeds. This one popped and after a few days, I transplanted it carefully into a 5 gal cloth pot. Fox Farms Ocean soil with about 30% perlite. Autos thrive with lots of air and drainage.

BlackCat Week three, time to start some LST! I am using a few cut up metal hangers to pin down the main stalk and branches. I have a very compact space, and hopefully this will help me with my height restrictions. Also, I've never done and LST, so I'm excited to see how this will effect the final harvest.

BlackCat She is growing great. I haven't bothered with any nutes. Autos are so sensitive and grow so fast, that I'm just letting her gobble up everything in the soil. I may add some Big Bloom...I haven't decided yet. There are little pistils popping up all over her. Flowering has begun right on schedule! It's growing so fast that I'm having to move my LST pins every day. It's like I'm wrestling the plant! Also, the little plant in the back is another El Fuego. Like I said, they seem real sensitive, and this one got stunted somehow and stayed a little 2 leaf sprout for about two weeks. It was very odd. I kept waiting for her to die, but after a couple of weeks, she popped her second set of leaves and then started moving right along. I decided to transplant her to a 5 gal cloth pot. Although they are the same age, the little stunted one isn't showing any pistils. I'm just interested to see how she finishes out.

BlackCat Flowering is well underway. My LST work has paid off and there are lots of flowering nodes all on the same level building up. I've started adding some molassess to the water when I water her. Full steam ahead!

BlackCat Well, I think I got this one a little too hot a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have a fan going, and I think she got a little crispy. Now that I've had a fan going for a week or so, she seems to be doing a lot better. The LST work I did continues to have worked out well. This plant is about 8" tall at its highest point and all the nodes are finally starting to fatten up. This strain is supposed to be extremely resinous, but she's pretty much bone dry at this point. I think the heat is to blame on that, and also I think it may just be beginning to push out the resin. It's really interesting to see the other El Fuego I have going. It's still very green and VERY bushy. I accidentally broke the main stem off of it a couple of weeks ago, and it obviously compensated. It's just now starting to form some buds.

This week she really yellowed out. I wasn't sure if it was from over watering at first, or if it was just the big flowering push pulling all the energy out of the leaves. I figured it was the latter, so I decided to give her some FoxFarm Big Bloom. I've given it a couple of rounds and I didn't see any evidence of nute burn, so she's good to go. There are a lot of bud sites and they are all slowly beefing up. I would guess that she'll probably finish in 3 more weeks. I can feel the smart pot is absolutely stuffed with roots. I'm excited to see how she finishes.

Interesting, you are only using big bloom? Next time you run through I'd recommend Cal-Mag plus and some Tiger Bloom and Grow big. Fox farm nutrients are made to be used in conjunction with each other to prevent nutrient deficiencies. It seems like you may have a couple deficiencies as well as maybe a little burn.
