Seed was planted into soil Fox Farm Ocean Grow. It’s a autoflower I just have always done it this way.

Well done on soil control!! 👌 It's better to never water if the topsoil is still wet, although that could also indicate too high humidity in the environment, which can keep the topsoil (where gnats live) moist, although the rest is already dry 🙏
