So simply popping the seeds this week, 24 hrs in lukewarm water then transferred to wet paper towel, 24hrs later all seeds popped and were transferred to germination pots and covered with a humidity dome. 24hrs later all seeds sprouted. Solid genetics from rqs!

Again, nothing much this week, just nurturing with a little feed and some low intensity lighting. These currently share a tent with some auto cookies soon to be chopped. Im growing 3 out of which 1 will be chosen to be scrogged. This is a 1m2 tent, and i want to fill the scrog completely from 1 plant which means a longer veg time but I do think longer veg times give the plant more time to establish giving better results, so Im good with that. Im also considering switching out the light for better coverage but will see about that nearer flower time.

Just coasting this week, nothing more than watering and observing. They're growing superbly with no issues thus far but it's early days. Growing out 3 plants to select 1 for a m2 sgrog

So these are still in starter pots - I had to order an autpotXL to pot up to, so that will happen this weekend. I've selected the plant to grow out of the 3, one just grew with a lot more vigor so went for that one. All 3 plants were topped at the 5th node and pruned to allow light to the lower and outer branches. This will go into a dedicated 1m2 tent to fill out through a scrog. Last night the selected plant was potted up to a 25 ltr autopot xl. This thing is a monster. This will be top fed until the destined tent is empty, so probably 2 weeks or so. Since its already been topped, I'm gonna top her one more time to double the colas then set up a scrog. I'm most excited to fill this tent to the brim with colas from 1 plant - I personally prefer a longer veg, there's nothing worse than rushing this stage imo - and I also think (jmo) that a more established plant will yield better quality.

There hasn't been much to report upon this far, just getting the plant from seed to a trainable size before I can start work. So previously I potted up into an autopots XL, I've not touched her in a week or so just while it transitioned and established itself. I've pinned her down to open up and once the 2 colorado cookies the tent is shared with are harvested, I'll add a scrog net and start to tuck and train with more attention. But so far so good,

Now the tent is free I have my space, I've pinned her right down, I'm weighting the branches to give me that horizontal growth, I want to spread her out as much as possible before I add a net. The growth is pretty vigorous so far. Due to the extra size auto pot I'm happy to hand water for while to establish good roots before I switch to the Res. Some more lst on this girl to keep the growth as horizontal as possible. I'm using lst only with the assistance of weights to keep the balance and also train the branches for extra support, I was going to scrog this but having more fun playing with the training, I'm excited to see just how wide I can get her in veg to fill the tent ready for flower, and at this growth rate that won't be long.

Just playing around with this one, seeing how far I can grow it out in veg before I flip, I'm in no rush at all, and I believe training in veg gives you a great understanding of the plant. Plus it'd be cool to see what weight I can pull from her. I think a few more weeks veg, we'll see.

So I'm happily vegging this girls until she fill the 1m2 tent area. Im a believer in defoliation throughout nthe life cycle and as fast as I can prune this lady she needs pruning again... This is a beast. Keeping the nites a little lower than recommeded. I'm constantly training this plant to keep low flat and wide, which is tough, this girl grows fast and strong and if you blink you lose control.

So I took a vacation over Christmas so lost a few weeks. I'm currently at 2 wks into flower. The branches became too strong to be weighed down so I switched tactics and threw a net over her to scrog while she stretched in her transition. This works superbly and filled out the remaining space nicely. I'm leaving for this week while she's still stretching before I get in there with my scissors, it looks bushy and messy, but there are tops a plenty and the plant structure is super strong which was my intention from the outset. I'm position the tops daily to guide them. I will prune to next to nothing to get the bud sites exposed and I want full canopy penetration so I don't want too many colas fighting for position. Next week will require more concentration and skill. Oh fuck then lol...

Starting wk 3. I fully defoliated the plant once the stretch was over, took me about 3 back breaking hours lol, but worth it. With this now, I'm keeping on top of the pruning in an ongoing fashion, basically see A fan leaf and take it if it's higher and shadowing, other than that there will be some cola control, just because there are so many I want them to have space to stack so I'll be supported somehow to keep the spread if need be. This is a strong plant and I can't forsee any issues in the flower stage. I'm keeping the nutes basic with A and B plus a little root stim. I'm not really a fan of all the supps tbh from my experience with them.

Nothing really to report at this stage, after their prune they have bounced back wonderfully. I've been having some heat problems with the cold north climate, so I've added a small oil heater to take the edge off. The plant is doing better than I could hope for, super healthy, with a ton of tops just waiting to get fat 🙏👌😁

I gave another light prune, mainly from the tops to thin the foliage a little, just taking any fan leaves that obstruct. The plant is starting to fatten up nicely, I think I somehow lost a wk as this girl is up to wk 5 now. Thoughts so far, although a crazy long vegging period, I can't help but think this is a super beneficial way to get the most from your plant, the more mature the plant going into flower the better imo. This girl is hardy, benefitting from a super strong structure due to the training methods used, the branches are thick, allowing more nutrient delivery to the bud, and the colas are plentiful numberbering above 50 tops. I can only imagine the yeild from this plant. It's been a pretty problem free run and I'm shooting for the maximum thc content. Also this is now under the new hellion 750 from adjustwings. I'm happy and now I'm just monitoring.

Nothing much to report, everything's coming along swimmingly, the adjustwings helion is performing as promised with deep penetration and ridiculous resin production. The foliage isnt crazy, so not much pruning is required at this stage. All in all my best run to date.

So coming to the end of week 9, I began the flush and will run til approx week 10, I've on vacation for the last couple weeks from the garden, so it's has literally been undisturbed for this time, the autopots doing what they do best, and taking care of business in my absence. The terps on this beauty are so strong an upgrade in filters was required. This is without a doubt my cleanest and most impressive plant to date. Everything has been on point, I can imagine the quality of smoke. This will not receive the standard 2 wk cure, this will be slow dried and the buds cut with any trim and straight in to curing jars for atleast 2 months. At which point they will be trimmed to perfection. I'm looking forward to see what colours come through on the flush, I've also dropped the temps a few degrees to aid in this. Can't wait to see what this plant pulls at harvest time. So disaster struck a few nights ago where the light fitting above the plant tripped the electric circuit in my house, so Woke up on Tuesday morning with a black out in my grow room :( I couldn't get the light to work and each time it tripped the circuit. Luckily I was so close to harvest, this forced me to give the plants a few days dark before harvest. I know alot of growers do this anyway to increase thc, but I was always skeptical. But as it stands the plants are thriving in the dark. I'm so happy my light knacked 😂😂 So I cut off the water supply yesterday to finish of with a dry medium and plant and not a plant full of water. I will be havesting tonight with a basic trim and a full plant hang. Not looking forward to the trim as there are over 50+ colas, there are however worse problems to have. So finally after such a long hall, the chop, I'll update harvest data as soon as I have it, but as far as I'm concerned this is my best grow yet. It's an absolute powerhouse of a plant. I cannot wait to see what she smoke like. 💚

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of growing this plant - I wanted to really push her for yield and she definitely delivered. It was a relatively easy plant to grow - in that it handled lots of extreme defoliation along side some constant stress from weighting the branches to strengthen the plant structure. This allowed me to grow the plant big and wide. This is my best grow to date - zero issues, a nice clean run with a slow dry and cure. I would definitely grow this strain again.
