i water at the start and check the top soil is dry i use an automated system later on as i work out the watering schedual wich is usualy around 30-35 seconds every 24 hours and can go up as the plants get bigger i see you use fabric pots maybe think about making a wicking system next time you place the pot inside something on top of cotton wicks and leave the wicks hanging in the nutreint solution so it absorbs in to the fabric pots also much better than top watering but thats down to opinion but as long as you water when the top soil is dry you wont over water

This will varie a lot depending on your environment. No one set up is the same. So, there is no right, wrong way There's just different.. Find your medium
