Its been a hectic first week. This is my first grow and have been trying to get everything dialed in, but happy with progress so far and things should continue to improve. I had issues getting my humidity right. My humidifier was not compatible with inkbird and would just shut off and never back on and I have the situation fixed so now my temp and humidity are almost perfect. Been adjusting things daily but have finally got everything steady and running smoother. Had 100% germination and they were put into net pots on 6/23. Temp is stable around 78 to 79 and RH is around 65% during 18 hour on cycle. Off cycle temps are around 71-72 with around 60% RH which keeps my VPD around 1 fluctuating here and there. Had to run the first week with just tap water and I added about 1/4 calmag and PH to 5.6. PPM is around 180ish. System will be flushed weekly and I now have RO water and will be running Floraflex full tilt kit. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know or if you see anything that can help, I fully appreciate it.

6-23 Went from humidity dome to net pots. I used tap water and cal mag that I ph too low by accident, i thought I needed 5.5 but was at that for the day and top feeding, I may have put into net pots too early. I am making mistakes for sure but leanring and correcting them. I continued to try and dial in my VPD the next few days as well as temps and it took about two days. Now my temps and VPD are constant at around 1. Made some mistakes with the not calculating my ph pen and struggled with that the next two days from like 5.5-6.4 swings. 6-26 RO system came in and got it installed. Started to notice yellowing on the tips of my babies and decided I was going to flush everything and add my first dose of nutrients with the new clean water. 6-27 System flushed, nutes added, ppm 500 and ph 5.8, water temp 69, temp in tent is 79, humidity is around 67 % and are dialed in almost perfectly, its annoying dealing with this vivosun humidifier. I dont recommend, it doesnt work with inkbird, it shuts off randomly, its humidistat is highly inaccurate, but I have found a setting to make it work with another humidifier I have in the tent until my ac inifinity one arrives that I should be able to hook it up and be completely good. Ive been adjusting everything for night time right as the lights go off so i can keep my vpd around 1 at night as well, then wake up in the morning at 7am and refill my humidifiers and adjust my settings for day time. Its been working great for getting that dialed in. 6-28 Things have been going great since flushing the system and feel like they are improving and starting to grow a bit faster now! Adjusted my Ph from 6.2 back down to 5.8 and everything seems to be going a little better, at least i feel a bit better about it all. 6-29 Things have been going smoother, they seem to be loving the the nutrients and had a bit of growth quickly! PH was at 6, I'm letting it rise to at least 6.2 before I adjust it back down. Temp and humidity have been great, no issues maintaining that as of now, the little system and settings I have are working nicely. The AC infinity controller is awesome but takes a bit to figure out the right settings for where I wanted it, but going well now. 6-30 No issues, things going well. Temp and humidity in control at 78 and 65sih. Water temp 69, ppm 520, and ph 5.8. I have not had to adjust the ph the last two days, its stays between 5.8 and 6.0 typically. They seem to be doing really well to me and growing fast, but this is my first grow so not sure, but I feel decent about it.

Officially two weeks since I planted the seed. These things have really grown since the flush and nutrients. Will be flushing and fresh water and nutes on Tuesdays. I will also add daily progress pics and updates. 7/1 (Day 14) - Everything is continuing to go pretty well. I feel pretty good and dialed in on my temps, humidity, and VPD. I've just been kinda monitoring everything and its going well. They seem to be doing ok. I definitely made the mistake of planting them two low in the net pots I think. Im not sure if that is going to hurt anything or not, they seem to be doing ok though. Ill try and get some pics of the roots, I felt under one of them to see if they had roots and there was one under that that was pretty damn gnarly and long already though. Will update later with pics if i can. 7/2 (Day 15)- Continuing to see good growth I think. Things continue to run well and everything is in check and staying the same. PH went up to 6.1 and I added a very small amount of PH down and waited about an hour an now we are back at 5.8. 7/3 (Day 16)- Everything continues as normal, got the new humidifier in and hooked up and its made life much easier. Plants continue to grow and seem to be happy. Tomorrow is flush day and new nutes! Ill try and get a video or something if I can remember. 7/4 (Day 17)- Flushed and refreshed everything. Its a long process due to waiting on the RO water. Everything is looking pretty good though. Just going to continue to monitor. Temp and humidity are still 78-79ish and around 65% RH during day and around 72-73 and 58-60%RH at night. PPM after this flush is around 650ppm or EC 0.9 7/5 (Day-18)- Every seems to continue to go pretty well. Temps, humidity, ph, and ec all stable, plants continue to grow! 7/6 (Day 19)- Pretty much same as yesterday, everything is staying steady and running pretty good, they are getting big but not really growing tall, wondering if it will shoot up soon or if i messed up by planting too deep in net pots. 7/7 (Day 20)- Had an issue this morning, woke up to some leaves curling down at the ends. Checked everything, temp 79, humidity 65%, water temp 68, EC is .9 so same as when I mixed, roots look great, 1 inch gap from net pot, airstins and everything is great. Came to conclusion my light was too close. I haven’t raised it and plants have grown a few inches. I think it was too close and burning. Moved the light to about 33 inches from top of plant now. Seem to be recovering slowly. Will monitor. Any tips and recommendations always appreciated. Thanks.

7/8 (Day 21)- Still seeing the curling a little from yesterday, but I have moved the light and turned the power back a little as I think that’s what caused it. Temps are 78 day and 73 night. 66% day RH, 60% at night. PH is 5.8 and PPMs 650, both stable. Water temp is 68. They seem to be responding and picked back up the growing after a slow day yesterday. 7/9 (Day 22)-I think I have over feed, has some clawing going on. I backed the light back to 36 inches and 70% power, also lowered the PPM last night to 500. They look a little better. Gonna go ahead and flush tomorrow and lower the strength of nutes. 7/10 (Day 23)- Flushed this morning and mixed nutes about half strength. Also did some light defoliation. Mainly removed the large leaves blocking the smaller newer growths and there were a lot being blocked. I’m going to just monitor and not mess with anything and let them recover the next few days. 7/11 (Day 24)- They look like they are starting to recover nicely and picking up on the healthy growing again. Pretty certain it was an issue of too much nitrogen. Gonna give them a few days then maybe some LST. 7-12 (Day 25)- Things have been pretty easy and stable today, all temps and conditions stable, just watching them grow. 7/13 (Day 26)- These girls have been drinking, checked this morning and res was low so mixed up 1 gallon and added to res. Everything is looking good. They are very short bushy but new growth has been crazy and popping up everywhere. Will have to feed again in the morning and may have to do some LST and very light defoliation so I can get light to the new growths again. 7-14 (Day 27)- They continue to pop up new froths everywhere so fast. I did some more light defoliation, probably around 30 leaves combined. Uncover a lot of newer small growths. Added another gallon of mixed nutes. These girls are drinking. Everything continues to stay stable now. As always any tips or recommendations always appreciate. Definitely making mistakes and trying to learn.

7/15 (Day 28)- Everything seems to be going well and everything is staying in check. I’ve been adding around 1 gallon of nutes ppm to 550 and ph 5.8 to res around every 12 hours. Having to defoliate some every couple days to unblock light. These are very short bushy girls. I’ve been doing some light LST as well, mainly just lightly bending some as I defoliate. Roots look nice, big and healthy. My humidity during the night is starting to be a concern. It’s getting high and my little dehumidifier is not doing much. Will monitor and continue update daily. 7/16 (Day 29)- Started off the day with a gallon of nutes to top off res, then did some light LST, just trying to figure out the best way to do that. Trying to keep them all even. They continue to grow like crazy and each day I have to pluck a few leaves here and there to open up some light for the newer smaller growths. Everything is in check, water and bite change in the morning. 7/17 (Day 30)- They continue their short, rapid, bushy growth. Flushed and added fresh water and nutes. PM to 500 and PH 5.8. Everything stays in check. 7/18 (Day 31)- Progress continues, did some more light defoliation and added another gallon of nutes to res. 7/19 (Day 32)- Things continue along. Didn’t do much today, just monitored and added a gallon in the morning and a little before lights off. 7/20 (Day 33)- Pretty much same as yesterday. Probably going to take another stab at some LST and light defoliation on Saturday. 7/21 (Day 34)- Same as previous two days. Just monitored and made sure everything was good, they are drinking about 2 gallons a day now. I also added a dehumidifier to the room, humidity at night was getting really high so we will see how this helps. Tomorrow starts a new week and I'm excited to see the timelapse tomorrow. As always, any tips or recommendations always welcome. Thanks for looking everyone! Happy growing!

The beginning of week 5! I think we are going into flower this week, signs are there. 7/22 (Day 35) - Started off week 5 with the most LST and Defoliation I have done and I was nervous. They needed it though, I was getting worried about mold and airflow through these bushy ladies, so I did my best and kinda followed my instinct. I did watch and read a ton of videos and articles and tried to put what I learned to use. I think these ladies are about to go into flower as well, started noticing the white pistols and where potential bud sites are going to be so I did my best to make those available to light and as even as possible. Will be letting them rest for a few days and reassess then. Everything continues to stay in check and the new dehumidifier worked awesome last night keeping the humidity in check. 7/23 (Day 36)- Didnt get any pictures this day. Pretty normal day, they drank 2 gallons and just continue to grow. I feel like they are just growing like crazy still and I think im starting to see them start stretching a bit more. 7/24 (Day 37)- Did the res change this morning, they are definitely starting to stretch and the bud sites seem to becoming more obvious. I went with more Veg neats after doing some reading, I may switch to bloom next week depending on how they are stretching. They fully recovered from the LST and defoliation two days ago. I decided to do a bit more today and focus on opening up light to sites that need them. Everything gets covered up so fast and I am having to defoliate a bit almost every other day it seems. 7/25 (Day 38)- Everytime I defoliate and do some LST they seem to bounce back so fast like next day. I did a bit more with the front left plant, she is lagging behind the others a bit, but that one has always seemed to be the runt. They are starting to form buds, especially back left plant which seems to have taken off a bit faster than the others. They are drinking almost 3 gallons a day! Everything continues to stay in check. I am debating if I should try scrogging or not, or just continue to LST and defoliate. Any input is welcome! 7/26 (Day 39) - Just kind of checked in on them and topped up the res today, Everything looks nice and healthy, all conditions are staying consistent and everyone is looking healthy. 7/27 (Day 40)- Did quite a bit of defoliation this morning. They needed it badly, a lot of the light was not getting through to under the canopy. Going to just keep an eye on them and see how they recover the next few days. As always, tips and recommendations are always appreciated!

7/29 (Day 42)- What a fun and exciting experience this has been so far. I’ve already learned so much and the ladies seem to be doing well. Handling all the defoliation and LST I have been doing and bouncing back in no time. The growing climate has been great and super steady the last week, I’m switching over to my bloom nutes Monday when I flush and clean. They are definitely stretching now and the back left plant seems loaded with bud sites. I’m going to do some research and watch more videos on using a trellis net, I have on ready to go but unsure if I’m going to attempt it or not. 7/30 (Day 43)- Did some more defoliation and leaf tucking today, just trying to keep the canopy open as much as possible, but its a never ending task. They are really starting to stretch though and the back right gal is a bit ahead of the others and its showing more and more. Tomorrow is flush day, and I'm going to be be switching to the bloom nutes. All environmental conditions have been steady at 78 degrees during day and around 71 at night and my humidity is around 60 and 55 RH for day and night. Water temp is 68 and ppm around 900 now. 7/31 (Day 44)- Changed out the water this morning and started the bloom nutrients. They drank all day and are up to drinking about 4 gallons a day. They are really starting to pack on the size as well. All conditions are staying very steady and no issues at this point, hoping to keep it that way from here on out. Fingers crossed. 8/1 (Day 45) - These gals just keep growing and growing. I did a bit of defoliating two days ago and it already looks like it needs it again. Im going to give them another day or so unless it looks like airflow and no light are able to get through, but I worry about constantly removing things. I will wait and see how things are looking tomorrow afternoon and decide then. Everything seems to be in check and running great. As always tips and recommendations are very much appreciated. Thanks!

8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. As always, tips and recommendations appreciated!

8/12 (Day 56) - Well it’s a week and things are looking ok I suppose. Everything is staying in check and I’m feeding full strength and the plants seem to be handling it well. Drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I think the stretch is pretty much done so hopefully we can get some big juicy nugs to develop. These ladies are sooooo stick. I defoliate and 10 seconds later it’s like my hand is covered in stick glue, and the smell…sooo sweet. Like a tropical candy. Going to be doing probably one last big defoliation on these girls in the next day or two. I’m always plucking here and there to be honest. But seems to be ok. Thanks for looking! 8/13 (Day 57)- Did some very light defoliation on three of the plants, then the back right plant I ended up removing a ton of the lower growths and leaves. It needed it pretty bad I feel. She is a little behind the other plants but looking good none the less. Just going to continue to monitor and feed regulary. 8/14 (Day 58)- Started the morning with the flush and change of water and nutrients. Everything is looking good, going to leave them alone for a few days let the one plant recover and grow. All conditions are steady and constant. 8/15 (Day 59)- Just continuing to monitor and check for issues, feeding around a gallon or more every 4-5 hours. I am noticing more and more frosty goodness as the girls continue to develop! As always tips and recommendations welcomed and appreciated.

8/19 (Day 63) - Pretty normal/typical today. Have just been monitoring since the defoliation a few days ago. Environment has been stable, stay around 78/79 degrees during the day and around 73 at night. Humidity fluctuates between 55-60 RH. PH stays 5.8/5.9. I did accidentally feed a bit much and have been watering with just RO water and they have been drinking fine, a few deficiencies and I also lowered my light power by 10%. I may end up changing the res and water tomorrow just because I did mix my nutrients a little hot by accident and took me a few days to notice. Everything is looking pretty good thus far and we are getting closer to finishing! Pretty pleased with my first grow but excited for the second because I have more knowledge and have a few things that im going to correct and do differently. Will be updating throughout the week. Thanks for looking. 8/20 (Day 64) - Decided to just ride out and keep topping the res with RO water, Calmag, and Rootdrip. I think I added too much Calmag last week trying to correct the calcium deficiency I was seeing. Girls are drinking just fine and not showing any real issues. Everything is stays in check. Tomorrow is water and nute change. 8/21 (Day 65)- Woke up early and got the everything pumped out and fresh water and nutrients back in. Definitely over did it on the calmag last week by mistake but doesn't look like any real harm done. Roots and plants are looking good and getting big! All the plants seem at slightly different stages in flower though, not sure if its something ive done or just differences in plants genetically. All conditions are in check and gonna continue to watch them hopefully keep fattening up! As always, tips and recommendations always appreciated!

8-26 (Day 70)- Have the feeding corrected from last week now and everything has been pretty stable. Not had any real issues with the temps or RH, the dehumidifier is keeping things perfect. I have been checking the back left plant to see where the trichomes are and they are still all pretty much clear. That plant seems to be a bit ahead of the others, but will just continue to monitor and feed regularly (Around 4-5 gallons a day to the res). Monday will be switching to the full tilt instead of the bulky b. These girls are so sticky and sweet smelling. I am super excited for these girls to finish and see how I've done quality wise with my first grow and already looking forward to the next run and correcting some mistakes ive made this run. As always any tips and recommendations always welcome!

Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. As always tips and recommendations always welcomed and appreciated! Thanks for checking out my diary!

9/9 (Day 84)- Things are wrapping up I believe! Have continued to mainly just monitor and keeping the res topped with just the full tilt. Monday we be going RO water ph to 5.8 until finish. The leaves are starting to change to a yellow and the front and dive have been packing on! Looking forward to the finish and have ordered a rosin press so excited for it all and ready and looking forward to improving and learning from my mistakes this run. 9/11 (Day 86)- Did my final flush this morning and now just running RO water to flush. Just hoping I am not flushing too early. Everything is looking good. Dry tent is set up and ready to roll. I am able to get my area down to around 64. I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. I will be pressing some of the flower and all of the dry sift from the trim. So if you are interested in that as well feel free to ask. Thanks everyone for checking out my diary! Good luck with all your grows and best wishes! Dried for about 9 1/2 days. Just finished a 12 hour trim session, that was a lot. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. Thanks As always tips and recommendations appreciated!

Grow Questions

I need help identifying wether I have PM or if it’s trichomes. I have been doing nothing but research and and checking over my buds and I still don’t know. I’m in panic mode, but if it is it’s a learning experience I suppose.

looks like trichomes, but not zoomed in enough. do you have wpm on leaves? it generally shows up there long before it can show up on buds. if you take a magnifier and see indidivual stalks and heads, those are trichomes. if you see what looks like a weird mesh-looking covering it, that's mildew. looks like a net of fuzz over the trichomes. they won't be so easily seen as individual stalks/heads https://www.dinafem.org/uploads/oido5_blog_full.jpg it can be even more dense than that, but you can see it'll be incrediby obvious is something is 'coating' the trichomes. a clear picture with clean triches https://www.dudegrows.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/trichomes5.jpg

If this is really your first grow, you are doing amazing. Just keep doing what you’re doing and frequently change the water during your last bit of flower and everything will be wonderful!

@FrontRowAG_BrianG, dude this is honestly how 1st grows go!! This jaysam guy got the goodies on the hydro and is kill'n it....but yeah all the formalities of the grow get figured out in this.....you get your wings on this 1st grow sometimes 2nd but it's really a personal thing....to share the thoughts and feelings while the "Banana Republic" three ring circus blast you "Clockwork Orange" style and your forced to watch, watch, watch...only to be interrupted by nutrition 🔥 resembling an oompa.....man phuck! Ready for Football, Holidays, and maybe some cooler Temps and definetly some mason jars of nicely cured buds to 🎁!!!

@FrontRowAG_BrianG, Hey thanks so much! You have some really nice grows! It is my first grow, I did a fair amount of research before and then get my grow area set up and tried to get it dialed in before I started. Ive made some mistakes for sure and took me some time to get everything dialed and figuring out where to put everything and how it effects the environment. Its been fun though. I appreciate the kind words and advice.

Looking good ! I thought about get a P.A Rdwc for my 3x3x6, I've grown 4 plants in there once before but I don't want to do that again lol, maybe I'll look into the 2 plant one, keep up the great work, oh and by the way check out an automation system called the Growee, now that's a super cheat code lol
Jsammy09
Jsammy09commented2 years ago
@BBhykiem1, I highly recommend the system, I have not had a single issues, no leaks, everything runs smooth. If you do end up going that right, play with connection from the res to the first bucket to figure out where you want your water line to be, it takes some playing around with with the sytem on, but its worked well for me so far. Dude, I looked at the growee and it looks awesome and definitely going to do some more research, but it for sure is a badass little system! One thing ive found out the hard way is those plants in the back can be super tricky to get too though, especially when they get bigger. Eventually I just want to convert a small room here, just to be able to move around and work a little better. But thanks for the information and kind words!

dude your grow is mind blowing!!! All the dazzle pictures of "buds pop'n in da grow tent!!" I so wanna go hydro just to be able to lift my girl and see her amazing roots. It's like silk stocking on a pair of legs.....delightfully entangled.
Jsammy09
Jsammy09commented2 years ago
@dinni5yn, Thanks so much man, I appreciate that. I honestly think a good rdwc/dwc sytem is kind of a cheat code. I just do my best to keep all conditions in check to limit any issues and try and let the plants tell me what they need. Definitely a lot to learn and even more excited for the next grow, I feel much better about it and have some ideas on improving things like training and the timing of everything. Its been so fun so far though. Your grow is looking great too man! Not too much longer until we will be rewarded with the fruits of our labor!

Hey, Looking good. The Defoliation jitters are definitely real as I did that and almost cried! Your grow is looking fantastic and the fact that you are reading as you grow tells me that you care about your girls. 420astic!!!!! I starting my bloom stage this week. We kind of started our grows around the same time so not sure if this was maybe a bit early but seeing the white thistle's and just thought if not now in the next few days. Great roots man!! I cannot say enough about your roots!!!!
Jsammy09
Jsammy09commented2 years ago
@dinni5yn, Oh yeah the jitters are 100% real, but I just cant get over how fast they are bouncing back. I'll go through and take off about 50 fan leaves, next day its like I did nothing to the plant the prior day lol. There are so many different ways to defoliate, LST, and scrogg, I just try to take as much as that info in as I can, watch the plants and ksee what they are doing, compare them to other journals look at what they did, see what has worked, and kinda just read them and go off of instinct. Im really starting to see them stretch now, I was a bit worried about how short and bushy they were. Its getting exciting though, I have one plant that is just a bit ahead of the others and am starting to see all the bud sites form and those balls and clusters of those beautiful white hairs! I appreciate the comments and words friend!

dude those roots!!!!😍
Jsammy09
Jsammy09commented2 years ago
@dinni5yn, yeah they are doing well! I was shocked how big and white they are getting. This plant is super short though. A lot of growth is covered by those big leaves so I tried to do some tucking and hopefully promote some growth in those. I think I also was overfeeding a bit. I got some curling going on in new growth, but I lowered the PPM back down to 500 and raised the light a bit. Hopefully it picks back up and recovers.

check'n your cal mag+iron? not sure if because of the hydro but your plants are really kick'n in!!!!
Jsammy09
Jsammy09commented2 years ago
@dinni5yn, Yeah, every since I flushed out the tap water and put in the RO water and nutes these things kinda took off. I just follow the low strength feeding chart floraflex has and seems to be working well. Tuesdays will be fresh water and nutes, hopefully they continue to grow.

Just wanna add it looks like you did the research, got the best equipment you could.. added the best nutes you liked and great genetics and it seems to have paid off!! I pray mine ends well.. I've got darn near $3000 in my setup. Or well over $2000 anyways. I got Ac infinity 4x4 and their 6 inch fan filter and controller 69 pro Grow light science ProGrow1800 670w led light. 'Driver failed 2x' during seedling, they sent replacement driver each time. I got a new surge protector and went to new socket and everything has been smooth since. That scared me tho so I got a spider farmer g8600 860w led light for backup and their 40w UV B lights which I have added to the progrow1800 light for now. I got ac infinitys humidifier, Their 6 inch isolating fan, a vivosun 6 inch isolating fan and a hurricane 6in isolating fan too. Recently had to get a $75 dehumidifier off Amazon and it don't really help.. kinda wasted my money. Tonight I bought another 4x4 off Amazon for $76 it looks identical to ac infinity tent but it even had the side bars for high air flow, it's got good reviews.... I only need it for drying but if it's good I may throw the spider farmer light in their and have 2x grows lol. Idk if I can handle that though. Running floraflex full tilt as well but in 3g coco perlite mix.. but 70/30 I guess. I tried to get the best equipment I could in my price range and it seems to be working. I want to try some sort of self watering like autopots next time or possibly even dwc later on. Cleaning up runoff sucks bad. Sorry for rambling just wanted to say I see how good your doing and wanted to acknowledge ya growmie.. seems we're similar in our research, our genetics, our nutes, and both being new. So fingers crossed we crush it! Good luck!

@Jsammy09, I appreciate the kind words, and I was thinking of getting hlg but I chose the grow light science and then spider farmer had a killer deal and I figured if I ever use it I can turn it down to like 60% as it is a huge light and hopefully prolong it's life. If you grew up round hlg then we're not to far apart, I'm north and bleed blue if you what I mean ;) Hoping Governor gets a push on this medical bill so we don't have to hide this anymore. I don't even smoke or use this medicine, It's for my disabled spouse. She has a trach to breathe through after a accident, long story short, her lack of breathing has made her disabled.. so she tossed all the opiods and pills and this plant gave her her life back! I said right then and there I will do whatever possible to grow the cleanest and tastiest medicine for her. All we get here is rag weed. So anything I grow will be 20x better. Anywho I'm ramblin again, good luck finishing yours and hopefully I'll get mine to finish good as well! 👋

@@DoughHead, Yeah man I just looked at your grow and it looks fantastic! I have another 4x4 for drying that I am wanting to buy another light and and start a coco run too. I am loving floraflex, granted I don't have anything to compare it to. I have to feed pretty light honestly and since I am using RO water I need the higher end on the requirements for calmag which makes my EC run a little higher than I would prefer, but the plants seem very happy with what they are getting. I looked at lights for so long before I made a decision, I paid a little more than I wanted but if you look around you can find discount codes for sure and since I'm a vet i got 20% off which was sweet, thinking about getting a refurbished Blackhawk for around $420 from them with discounts if they still have when I'm ready. I chose HLG because of their relationship with Samsung (always top bin leds), the par uniformity was great as well as the efficiency, incredible customer service and warranty, and I grew up two hours away from where they are manufactured. I'm very happy with the purchase, but that prowgro, spider farmer, mars hydro all great lights and put out about the same amount of par and everything. A lot of it is preference in my opinion. Dr Bruce Bugbee has some great videos, I highly recommend if you haven't seen any, although you look like you did a ton of research too, so im guessing you have. I appreciate the kind words and good luck on the rest of your grow friend!👊

The ladies are very pretty growmie 💚 💪 Sorry to hear about your back...I hope that cannabis helps with the pain 🙏 You had to watch and read a tone of "how to grow" material, judging by the equipment you bought for a first growop 😎Your growspace looks so cool. To the question from couple weeks ....yes! definitely instal a net. The plants will need it to keep the balance and not fall to the sides together with the net pots and roots when the grow bigger and hevier. And they gonne grow big if you will continue this course...my plants drink like 2.5 gal. per day and that in the peak times, yours already drink more 💪💪💪 They are going to be monsters 😅

@Jsammy09, Thank you for the compliments but if you go through my journals you'll see I'm a sloppy grower 😂😆 my girls are left unattended for weeks at times. The success I get is because the DWC is really one of the most efficient methods to grow. With an efficient light fixture and DWC a man truly can achieve great results. You got a great target! Helping veterans grow their own truly is therapeutic as you stated above. ..on one hand the flower helps alleviate the pain and stress, on the other the whole gardening experiance is relaxing in itself. As for your your present grow... if you plan on installing a net, I would space out the girls a we bit in the middle so that you provide some space for the plants to 'colonize'...I think that your plants are still before the biggest stretch (could be I'm wrong though ;) Still if I'm wrong and your girls will stop stretching soon, the fixture you got has a great light spread so even in case the middle of the grow room will stay empty the plants will not loose out and they win living space and more air.

@Metatronix, Thank you so much I really appreciate it! Your grows are freaking incredible! Im sure ill be spending a few hours going over all your grows now. I really did spend a lot of time. I'm a disabled vet and have a lot of sleepless nights so I spent that time researching, watching videos, going through journals and blogs. That alone helped, but I knew I was buying a house and I wanted to be able to grow better quality medicine for myself for much cheaper. This whole process has been therapeutic for me and the community of growers are amazing. So many talented people like yourself to learn from. Eventually one day when I learn and get it all figured out, id like to be able to help fellow veterans improve their quality of life by growing for themselves. I really do appreciate the positive words and advice friend!

@dinni5yn, Hey thanks so much brother! I check yours too every time I long on here, I really dig the reads on your post, top notch man. Your plants are looking awesome too and we are getting close to the finish! Im 100% looking for to the second run in the RDWC and I think I will experiment with coco very soon and give that a shot as well. I left some reviews on flora flex and ended up getting like $160 in free stuff from them so I managed to snag a little 4pot 5 gal setup with their drainage system, so pretty stoked to giving that a run and see the difference. Thanks for all the kind words man I really do appreciate it!
