Germination

100 percent germinated seed after 48 hrs only using a glass of water. Tap water to be more specific along with adding a drop of hydrogen peroxide to sterilize the water. Planted the germinated seed into a red solo cup filled with HP Promix dampened. Sprouted as shown the photo, the bottom right is the Black Tangieland, the other 3 are Remo Frost if interested follow and like that grow as well. Cheers. Please feel free to leave any questions or comments.

Black Tangieland (Black Candyland x Sour Tangie) Sour Tangie, is a sativa dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) strain created as a cross of the hugely popular East Coast Sour Diesel X Tangie strains. Like its parent strains, this bud is most infamous for its insanely mouthwatering flavor. Sour Tangie has a smell of pungent sour citrus that has an earthy diesel bouquet as the bud is smoked. The taste is of sour earthy citrus that has a sharp pungent diesel aftertaste upon exhale that intensifies as you smoke. Sour Tangie buds have medium-sized grape-shaped dark olive green nugs with bright surprisingly pink undertones, rich purple hairs, and a frosty layer of lavender hued fine crystal trichomes. The Sour Tangie high boasts a combination of indica and sativa effects that are powered by a relatively high THC level that falls up to 22% on average. Black Candyland, Jordan from the Island genetics (Candyland x Animal Cookies x Blackberry Kush) Seed Junky Genetics); Black Candyland is mostly a sativa Cannabis plant. It’s a breeding project involving Seed Junky Genetics and our favorite Blackberry Kush. The results are a fast flowering, above average yielding, and highly resinous (great for extraction) variety. An ideal sativa selection for new growers, but experienced growers will be able to dial in Black Candyland for optimum resin production, high THC %, and incredible yields. Black Candyland has excellent medicinal and recreational effects – creative, social, and upbeat are great for social settings when used in moderation.

Week 2 Veg: Adjusted the PH to 5.9 and humidity to 50%, still waiting to see if these are feminized plants. I am still undetermined whether this "gaffer" is female but it is hard to tell for sure at this point. Unless someone is seeing telltale signs that I missed. Please let me know. Schedule feeding every 2nd to 3rd days depending on the feel of pots ( water weight). Plan on topping, LST, and SCROG in weeks to come. Along with scheduled defoliation and pruning in veg week 3 and 4 followed be flower weeks 3 and 5.

Week 3 of the Black TangieLand, this cultivar is growing a lot slower not sure all the conditions are the same and the others are thriving, I guess we will see over week 3 and 4. As I might have to keep in veg for another few weeks to get the desired height before flipping it too flowering. Also does it make a difference in terms of regular photo period seed and a female photo period seed or is it mainly to due with the genetics. Week 3 I topped and used green gardening ties for low stress training as the plant was growing very close together and bushy like. I am still wondering if it is a male or female hard to tell still at this point.

Week 4 the plant is still not growing as tall as other 3 Remo Frost however, I am want this plant to grow at to height at 14 inches before flipping to flowering. I feel the LST has really helped the plant with airflow which I have seen a noticeable difference with grow bounce back after applying LST as well as feeding it every second day.

Guessing you are using regular seed and trying to sex them early. The plants are not showing anything that can be distinguished between male or female. This will only happen if they are switched into flower of a 12/12 photoperiod. Doing this and switching them back to 18/6 can cause undue stress but its one way of figuring it out right away assuming the plants are mature. Another way of sexing them is by just waiting. The males will show sex earlier then the females in my experience. Once the plants are mature "week4-6+" they should some pre-sex traits. Like pistils in the nodes but not enter flower. This means they are ready to be flipped to flower if your done training them. I found this when googling your strains name from the diary. https://www.puresativa.com/tangieland-regular-cannabis-seeds-by-crockett-family-farms Is this the breeder? Best Of Luck!
