Ph down has been used and it is VERY effective. +10 cm in 3 days in spite of high temperatures !
I also installed an iriso system (a dropper irigation system) with two 120L trash cans.
You should top the pot with more soil to give support to the plants, works better than sticks and even grows more roots. I'm not in favor of planting directly to the ground mostly because it's illegal were I live and pots are movable, so you can always make sure they are under the sun , but the choice is yours to make. Good luck!
@Iamanel, great tip ! I'll definitely do that in the future from now on. I actually killed one of my plants by applying a stick too roughly last week. Hopefully it was one of the cheap nirvana seeds, good thing I germinated them first in order to practice safely.
I chose to plant them to the ground for two main reasons : the outside location is really hard to access to and I can't bring large pots and big bags of loam and nutrients there. The second reason is also that I'm curious as to how the terroir will affect the buds. I live in south of france and terroir is quite a big deal around here, at least for wine :)
And this outdoor spot gets 10 hours+ of direct sunlight each day ! 14-16 hours of total light until august.
Let the natural predators do their job now, your plant looks strong and healthy enough to support some few bugs bites without getting stressed I think .
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, by irrigation, I mean soil drench, not any kind of automatic irrigation system of course ! It would block the pipes. I needed to clarify this just in case. And do note you have to dilute neem oil more. Use half the amount you put for spraying. Apparently, it's good for root growth too. I wouldn't risk it on seedlings though.
@Korfer, In my opinion you should wait at least 3 weeks from germination before transplant to the ground. Older than they are more chance they have to survive! Good luck
By the way, nice place! 👍
@Iamanel, thanks for your feedback ! The thing is I'd love to wait a week more but I'll have visitors next week-end and it's impossible to hide it otherwise.
Well maybe I could put the pots on the outside location without planting in the ground just for 2 days and then put them back inside (at night) for another week, what do you think?
Nice grow. I see you have experience with some great genetics. I'm playing with genetics because I want to attempts to grow great strains for the fun of it. My last breeding project was Gorilla Girl and real Landrace Thai cross. Currently testing seeds in many ways. I got lucky I believe. Great early results this strain.
