Hello Everyone,
I decided to plant some Strawberry Gorillas from Fast buds for my second round this season.
If all goes well and my calculations are right, I can finish this strain before it is to cold outside.
Currently I'm still growing another strain outside but putted the seeds into smaller pots behind my window to get started.
Normaly I would placed autoflowers directly into the main pots, but since I want to buy time and not having space for them right now, i placed them in 0.5-1L isch pots for the first 1-2 weeks.
If I repot them carefully, no damage will be done.
Hopefully this strain will safe my season with nice yields. My current grow for outside has been fun and i know the buds will be tasty,
but the yield is not high enough to get even on my spendings for this season. If I would have done another F1 round which I was planning too, I probily will break even.
They did germ really fast, I mean damn in 24hours i started to see root comming from the seeds.
Might update some more for this week.
This is the end of week 1 day 7 of veg.
They grow really fast this time yet they look a little light green-ish because I always start with lower amounts of feeding.
I will go on vacation for a while so I ask a friend of mine( not the same as last year lol) to take care of them.
He is a amateur but a stand up guy so he will try his best. I'm making him a schedule and he can always video call me if there is something wrong with them.
Hopefully I can make him understand/teach how to LST.
Lets hope for the best.
Hello everyone,
I'm back from vacation and ready to continu growing again.
Well what can I say... They are alive lol but they are not trained nor where they topped.
It is how it is, my friend kept them alive and thats oke for now.
Because of no LST or topping, they look like this. I did top 4 of them at the end of this week when I came back home from vacation because I don't want them to grow higher then my balcony fench.
They will now use their energy in growing side branches instead of the main branche.
The other 2 that are smaller I didn't top.
I did spot first signs of preflowering. Hopefully they can finish in time.
They have until the first 1-2 weeks of October, meaning they can flower for 8 to 9 weeks if needed.
Hopefully they will be done in 7-8 weeks.
Day 35:
All goes well with the plants, Two of them are faster with preflowering then the other four.
The website keeps rotating my pictures after I upload them... Can't seem to fix it even when trying to rotate them afterwards.
Temperatures start to rise again at the end of this week. So hopefully they will be getting 24-25 celcius for the next week.
Removed some HUGE leafs, x1.5 the size of my hand, they would had been nice to keep as ''solar pannels'' but they where shadowing nodes.
Plants are doing fine.
It was a cold week this week, 19-21 celcius, so the buds didn't grow that much.
Also because of that, they didn't drink much as well.
Until next week!
Out of silic rock, didn't bother to buy new one haha.
Added Green Sensation.
Removed some big leafs again.
Plants are doing great. Already lots of THC on them.
Yet it was another cold week. Good temperatures to end the flowering peroid with( to make the buds compact) but not to pre-mid flower them.
Yet all Pistils are still long indicating that there is still room for growth in bud size if the climate allows it to grow.
Hello Everyone,
I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that.
It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants.
The plants had a good sunny week as well.
Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest.
Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but
those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it.
Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes.
I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing.
I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol.
As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing.
Until next week!
Day 70:
The plants that I did harvest a week ago gave me 42 grams of dried buds which is decent after a good trim( removing little suger leafs as well, it do cost weight as well)
This was my last week of flowering for the remaining 3 plants, at the end of this week I harvest them as well.
Hope to get at least 60 grams out of those last 3, since they are bigger and have more buds.
So in total I would like to see at least 100 grams from all 6 small plants which is acceptable.
Will post harvest report when all buds are dry.
