I got these seeds in person at Boston Freedom Rally. Out of all the stuff I'm starting, I think I'm most stoked about this one plant. I've seen so much about this strain and can't wait to experience it.
9.17 - D1 - Dropped 1 Star Pupil seed (soaked/toweled) in a solo cup with bottom 1/3 NLS Super Soil and top 2/3 Fox Farms
9.19 - D3 - Star Pupil found the sky
9.21 - D5 - I knocked this one over too before she sprouted so is off-center 😤😅😂
D9 - 9.25 - Still getting a feel for how fast different strains will grow as seedlings. She looks plenty happy and has good roots, hoping this set of leaves throws her into 2nd gear.
D12 - 9.28 - Is this even a pot seed? My leaves are round and I'm confused...
D14 - 9.30 - ^^ LOL - I'm learning all kinds of things. Contacted MMS cuz he's an awesome kind fellow and confirmed that the Afghani genetics gives this strain a really roundish early leaf. Stoked to see her evolve and I dropped 3 more of these seed in three gallon pots for a ScrOG grow👍 I'll start a separate journal for those when they sprout. :)
She is different... are you sure its weeed? ( Joke), nah never seen so round leaves,,,, we will se how it turns . she got a lot of leaves very close together......gonna follw up
D22 - 10.8 - She a cute lil bush
D24 - 10.10- Suffering from an unseasonable heat wave and fighting to keep temps down. Young star pupil appears to be handling it ok.
D26 - 10.12 - I'm scared spitless right now. I found what looks to be broad/russet mite contam on some nearby plants. This Star Pupil don't seem to be affected but I'm treating it along with the others to make sure. I've treated with insecticidal soap and neem oil the past two days right before lights out.
Plan: treat with some heavy duty stuff to be procured today. Predatory mites and lady bugs on their way. Will release them as soon as they arrive. I want to use some diatomaceous earth, but I'm afraid that will counter my predatory mites and lady bugs?? Help! Taking any and all advice on getting this shit under control!!
10.15 - Well frens, they may not recover from this one. All my plants look about like this right now, with all the new growth shriveled and some discoloration showing up on the fans. Plants that did not seem affected before treatment are now showing this. Let me know what you think. My treatment for 3 days in a row may have been far too harsh? Will they recover... How could they? I'd have to remove all of this bad growth... This is devastating :(
D43 - 10.30 - I heckin love everything about this plants. Prase be to MassMedicalStrains 🙌 Please go back and look at week 5's photo. It's shocking to me how well this recovered.
D47 - 11.2 - <3 Not too much to report. She's drinking more and growing a lot.
D49 - 11.4 - Loved the foliar spray I gave at lights out yesterday.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - just a very beautiful happy purply lady <3 Recovered from defoliation well.
D76/F29 - 12.4 - Chuggin along in her glorious purpliness. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3

12.5 - F60 - another couple dark cycles and she'll get the big dark and chop. Really excited, such a loverly plant and the way the calyx started stacking up in the past couple weeks has been neat. I frequently see people harvest very round buds off this plant, so I'm curious to see how she looks all trimmed up.
