Hello everyone this is my first indoor grow and I am super excited to grow quality medicine for my disabled wife. I decided to add a good Indica, a good sativa, and 3 good hybrid 50/50s I planted them directly into soil and off we were! They all came up within 3 days and with a little help I got the seed off its first little leaves.

I'm using the Grow light science ProGrow 1800 led light. The driver died 2 times and I am on the 3rd driver. I had to throw the plants outside and back in then back out and back in. So they have been stunted I think. I bought a backup light it's the new spider farmer g8600 with the 40w UV bars. I have not used it yet as the other led is currently working.. if it fails it's being shipped back for refund. I do believe it's because of storms and rises in voltage. The plants seemed to LOVE the outdoors. High 80s and low 90s and like 45-55% humidity. They definitely dried way quicker and needed watering more. I over watered by using like 2 gallons on all 5 one morning. They bounced back though. They have been brought back in and are coming along. More pictures will be added from here on as I didn't anticipate making a diary until now lol

Current pics and video is on day 27 from planting seed in the ground. So day 20 of veg ''almost end of week 3'' Things have definitely picked up. We moved from 18/6 lighting to 19/5. Plants are all receiving 3-4 pints per feeding, and it is 3.5g of florflex V1 and V2 per gallon of water, still 5.8ph as well. Ppm are around 1250 Watering until run off for the first time on day 24 from seed and ppms are 150-300 more then the input ppm.. They seem to be taking off and starting to grow vertically. I had noticed some nitrogen deficiency so I have increased watering.. plants seem a little droopy after watering, but not to to bad. So I will keep a eye on it. I'll try to add week 2 veg later as I lost access to my old phone and lost the pics.

Day 35 update All have starting receiving florflex B1 and B2 3g per gallon on base 1g per gallon of Bulky B Also receiving what'd left of veg feed 1250ppm and 5.8ph Temps brought down from 80 to 75f Humidity now 65% instead of 70% All are stretching well, and have multiple top nodes. Sour stompers have the best structure, and leaf to node ratio. Although it took many rounds of defoliation lol Things are looking up! I may pull this off after all!! Day 34 from seed update They have received 40W UV B light for a hour a day for the last 2 days. Feed and ph have stayed the same. Sour stompers are the tallest now, 12.5 inches tall. They have also have really started early flower. All was HEAVILY defoliated so the tops can get direct sun light. Day 31 from seed updates.. I have really been tucking leaves and removing new growing top fan leaves to allow light into the lower nodes. They have all seemed to really shoot up.. Floraflex 3.5g per gallon of V1 and V2 1250 ppm. PH 5.8 3.5-4 pints each of feeding All runoffs are within 250ppm of input ppm.. one is even 100ppm less then input. All have sexed and have pistols coming out in between branches. Plants lower branches are really growing up and I hope it continues. I plan on pushing them for another week possibly 2 weeks of veg for a total of 5-6 weeks in hopes of gaining on yield.

Day 40 Preformed largest defoliation yet, Watered 4 pints of tap water and recharge Then 4 pints of 2/3rds strength nutes Both was 5.8ph Day 39 Things looking better after yesterday's flush. Leaf tips not progressing turning yellow. Leaves standing up well. Buds packing on and Sour Stomper #1 is 19.5 inches tall and #2 is 18 inches. I may of saved the grow and caught the high runoff ppms early. Fingers crossed Day 38 several had high runoff ppms. All were flushed with 8-12 pints of water with recharge ph to 5.8 Seeing some tip burn on sour stomper #2 and #1 also having good budding from those two. Day 36 week 5, first day of true flower. I lollipopped the plants and boy was that terrifying. I'm still not positive if I over did it and ruined my grow. I feed till run off one 3 plant. Sour stomper #1 was good on run off ppm ''sour stomper #2'' had high ppm runoff.. it was 1700ppm.. 500 more then input. So I gotta watch her. Fingers crossed I haven't ruined the grow. I will update later on in the week.

Day 49 Lights changed 60% for a better DLI, since I had to increase to 24/0 schedule. Nutes have resumed normal schedule after the flush several days ago and a few are showing half ppms in runoff as they are hungry. Seems like I rectified the lockout but now dealing with the deficiency from the flush. Only the small sour stomper #2 is having yellowing leaves though. Other then that buds getting fat on all. Day 47 Flush was given previous day Lights changed to 24/0 Humidity 70-75% during lights off even with dehumidifier, can't afford another.. so I had a decision to make, and lights have been changed to 24/0 Input ppm are 1250 PH of 5.8 Runoff ppms are different on all plants between 400-1000ppm. Day 46 Sour stomper #1 is 26 inches from soil to tip top. Also measured floor to top in picture. Ok, Watered only day 45 and today 'day 46' they had runoff ppm over 500 more then input, So.... All have been flushed with 9 gallons of water 'between all 5 plants' First 6 gallon was just tap water and 5.8ph Last 3 gallon had same ph of 5.8 but it had feed. Feed was 3g per gallon of B1 & B2 1.5g per gallon of Bulky B 6g total of Recharge 1250ppm Day 44 update.. I have lowered ppms to 950 Feed is 2/3rds of recommended floraflex 6g of B1 and B2 3g of Bulky B Runoff Ppms are 1300-1500 So a true 9 gallon flush is coming in next day or two Tallest plant is Sour stomper #1 at 22 inches The others fall in similar order slightly smaller as the previous weeks.

Change lights to 24/0 instead of 20/4 in flower?I have 75% RH during lights out even with a dehumidifier. I can't afford another, changing Temps of lung room isn't a option due to spouse disability and needing cold air to breathe.. will 24hr lights on be OK this late?

From what I have read up on autos and light cycles some of the best results can be achieved with 18/6, there is a good form post about it on autoflower.net or something like it. Some plants can tolerate 20/4 and few almost none like 24/0 The idea that more light = bigger growth is not wrong but nothing likes to be working 24/7 all living things need downtime and sleep. This is why I never go longer then 18/6, I have seen plants mimic deficiencies when they don't get downtime and all the extra cost of electricity for the lights without that much bigger of a return on yield is just not worth it. Also you really want to look into DLI, if its over 40 your giving the plant to much and its only stressing it. You can provide a DLI of 40 in a 12/12 period with stronger lights or a DLI of 40 in a 18/6 with dimmed lights. Example. my new Medic Grow lights will provide a DLI just a bit over 40 on 12/12 at 80% or 18/6 at 60%. At 100% no dimming on 12/12 they are giving a DLI of aorund 60. Overkill. You can easily calculate DLI if your lights have an accurate PPFD map and your hanging them at the heights the map is referencing. Best Of Luck!

I've snapped the top inch off my top cola. It's 2/3rds snapped. Should I wait to see if it pulls through? Cut it off and allow it to produce whatever top bud it can... or try to splint it? Kinda hard with it being bud and not a branch or limb

Hello Growmies, hope your enjoying the ride.. I sure am 😉 Day 55 Sour stomper #1 & #2 Are now in late flower and are receiving "Gram per gallon" 1.5g of B1 & B2 0g of Bulky B 3g of Full tilt Ph 5.8-5.9 Input ppm Day 53 from seed All are coming along nicely Sour stompers literally smell like GRAPES it's insane.. never had top tier flower but omg it smells amazing. All have gotten defoliated and branches pulled down and some even tied down. Last week's high ppms kinda come back today on the sour stompers. They really don't need a lot of feed so I've done small flush and will cut feed down to 500ppm for them.. Haven't switched to full tilt yet but since their 60 day strain I figured I better start. They need 2 weeks of it and then a week of flush so I better hurry.

They smell fantastic! Hoping for 3 more weeks, 2 of full tilt and one whole week of flush. Hello everyone hope all is well. I'm terrified of messing up. When to start flush. When to harvest Ahhhhhh decisions decisions Day 69 Trichomes are 95% cloudy still on SS's Pushing only 3g per gallon of Full Tilt Ph to 5.8-5.9 at 450ppm Will start water flush when 10-15% amber Day 65 Sour stompers started receiving only 3g per gallon of Full Tilt. Ph 5.9 and 450ppm I checked their calyxces and most trichs are cloudy, some branches have 10-20% amber some don't.. SS#2 has more then #1. So 3 days of only full tilt then hopefully 7 days of flush. Bout to get my first harvest! Day 64 from seed Last defoliation for Sour Stompers I honestly don't know when to start flush Idk if they got weeks left or what All trichomes are cloudy though. I believe I will go 6 more days with full tilt. Then a week of flush. So 2 weeks total. In ppms are 800 runoff ppms are 1050-1150 ph is 5.8-5.9 1.5g per gallon of B1 & B2 3g per gallon of Full Tilt

My first grow, when should I start flush? Breeder says 60-65 days, im at 67. How much longer does it look like this plant has? Most trichomes are cloudy, very few clear & like 5% amber. Some branches has more clear some has more amber. But that's the average. I'm nervous

Day 74 from seed Sour stompers have received only tap water 100-120ppms ph at 5.9 since day 72. Two different phenos showed themselves both are great looking plants. #1 Has a bigger size, tighter looking nugs and purplish slightly on sugar leaves. #2 Is a shorter plant but larger single colas, more hairs and would work well doing 9 plants in a 4x4. They have grown easily, little nute sensitive but for my first time growing they did me well. Hoping to get at least 3oz from each. Will probably cut them at day 76-79 depending on how they look

Sour stompers were littlest at the beginning, but Mephisto said they would 4x in flower stretch and boy did they! Becoming the biggest plants in the tent! Plant #1 was 5.25 oz Plant #2 was 4.75 Not even weighed trim, or all the calyxces we collected. Two phenos showed themselves, one more hairy and other not so. Both seemed a little nute sensitive, so be careful! Both had a grape smell, artificial kool-aid sugar smell and it was great. It faded and now mainly lemon and it is SOUR smelling. Can't even explaine it. Just sour! Hoping grape comes back after the cure.. Ash is white with specks of Grey. Joint burns percect! No harshness, no burning or excess coughing. Perfect smoke and is the best we have ever had. Hoping that grape comes out more in the cure. But it does have grape smell when ground up. Extremely smooth, uplifting euphoric high. All worries fade away with one bowl. #2 is slightly more sedative then #1 Super happy with my first grow and harvest!

Sorry to hear about the troublesome light fixture, I'll bet this kind of thing is very stressing for a first time indore take. Still the plants looking great you are taking good care of them, don't worry about the defoliation & lollipopping you done very well. Some people defoliate more but me personally I prefer to do it gradually with the grow so the plants don't get to much stress in one session. All the best for you on your way to frosty tops...enjoy the grow 🍻💚💐

@@@DoughHead, Sorry to hear that bro...don't feel down, a thing like that will only cost you a wee bit of less weight in harvest that's it, it happens almost always. I know it's your first grow and you planed a golden path for your girls, but to be honest almost none of my grow ops did go according to the plan 😂 You got to count these setback in. I did not grow in a medium since six years ...I just Edited this chapter as i notice you already started a Grow Question 😆and i did send you a Direct Messege. I would probably flush not looking at overwatering till you get a lower PPM in the runoff then I would let the medium to dry...that's what I would do, but as I wrote before I know little about it

@Metatronix, yeah I'll have to set down and separate them all. I have had my first problem, my wife watered and feed the plants and oh boy.... Sour stomer #2 and Jammy dodgers #2 both had runoff ppms of 2400... Input ppms was 1180 Sour stomper #2 has yellow leaf tips. Also my biggest plant Sour stomper #1 is really wilted, didn't have enough to water until runoff with it. I'll check once home. I'm terrified I've ruined the grow.. as with autos I've heard any set back will screw it all up. I'm terrified. Idk if I can flush even though the just got feed.. or wait until dry back of Like 30%... Once I do the flush and runoff ppms are in good range, should I then run some more water and light feed through or wait for dry back? Please help, I find conflicting answers online.

@@DoughHead, That's a good idea to restart your journals from the begin for the contests, I love the contest 😎 it's a lot of fun. Remember that for a diary to get a smiley face you have to have at least three pictures (or so) to a diary. The pictures don't even have to be from the grow, you drop some cannabis memes or so it still counts. Also if do a diary for every plant you can participate five times in the GrowerotMonth contests great idea.

Jammy dodgers looks like he may go 14 or 15 weeks. So I'm going to continue feeding until his runoffs rise from it slowing down. Mango smile and strawberry gorilla will only get full tilt ripener for a week, then a week of flush. So 2 weeks and their done. I'm aiming for 3oz per plant. Do you think my sour stompers look like they could have 3oz on them? Their really dense, almost no give when you squeeze them. They are the back two plants in the photo that shows all of them.

Granted it might be moisture in the bud, but I'm going to assume it's all then trichs!! They are absolutely COVERED. they smell amazing. I can't wait till their done, and I don't even smoke lol. Just doing this for my spouse! Shit makes me want to smoke though no doubt!
