PikeTyson So far so good, it's been 12 days since it came out of the soil. So far, it likes everything, no signs of deficiencies. The soil is enriched with Bat Guano, which seems to please it, at least new shoots have followed.

Should I cut more leaves or leave Joni alone and work step by step? I want to take as much as possible from the growth phase before it goes into flowering, to be more specific, to develop more/bigger buds...

If that is a FF from Fastbuds then go for it. If she's an auto. As said below leave her be.

Auto's don't like to much defoliation & have not got the same recovery time as photoperiods + she's to small for anymore. Work on LST to open the bud sites up as she grows . Less leaves means less energy to grow buds . Goodluck

No, until the shoot above the hair tie is not long enough to bend it further and the other shoots that are now getting more light are also not long enough, you don't need to do anything (let it grow for stage 2 first, then we'll see what Joni says).

What exactly can I do at this point to ensure the harvest yields more? LST? Trim job? I'm looking forward to your answers!

You can train the plant. Start with topping when the plant reached 5-6 nodes cut away the top node. When you do this you force the plant to focus on more buds instead of just 1 main bud. After you did this you can use low stress training like bending to force all the buds to grow at the same height. When you do this you can give all the buds the same amount of light from your lamp. Next to these training techniques you just need to give enough light, enough (not to much) nutrients and water. And a lot of love!

PikeTyson The little guy is growing up… he has gained a lot of height and volume in the last week, and the first threads are starting to show. In my opinion, he looks healthy and happy. To ensure all the shoots get enough light, I used (LST) and additionally propped up the branches with stakes to secure them. What do you think of the current state? Good-Medium-Bad? 🌿✌️🏼

PikeTyson The little one had a move this week, into a proper tent, better light. I think he handled it well. Plus, he's stretching and growing like a weed 😅 has really taken off the last few days, the white threads are also increasing. It's fun to see the little one grow like this ✌🏽

You need to start with Low Stress Training (LST) now to get more out of the plant. By bending the main stem and securing it to the side, more light reaches the lower shoots, and they develop stronger, resulting in thicker buds. Just check out my grows!

Hi. Is it an auto? If so I'd say SHE is starting to flower. Topping is debatable with autos. Personally I would stick to the lst you are doing trying to get your canopy as level as possible. Each time a branch starts to grow above the canopy tie that one and let lower ones catch up

@SkunkleDamo, yes, it is an auto plant. Thanks for the tip about tying them together so they can all reach the same growth stage. Since it's slowly but surely moving into the flowering phase, I'll probably just leave it alone. I'll definitely do it on the next grow ✌️🏼

Attach the Emir to the band to get an even canopy and later have the BUDS on the same level, so you won't have the problem of the main bud maturing much earlier than everything else, and the lower buds will receive less light and thus have less potency. LST is a very proven method to get the most out of autos. But don't top (cut off the top shoot), because it doesn't have enough time to recover from the stress and will stay too small...

Hey, dude, that looks super cool what you're doing. 👌 I just finished my first one and I'm totally happy. Check out my diary, you can see how it went for me. I also documented everything nicely, like how I defoliated and trained my plants + timelapse. That should definitely be interesting for you if you have any questions. The people here are really great and are happy to help you out. If you need any tips or ideas, just let me know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a magnificent harvest that you will definitely have. Love your plants and they will thank you for it, that's what I learned from my first run. Peace out! 🙌
