Purchased a clone from Cannabis NB. They were produced by a local company. I figured to grab the biggest/healthiest one I could find. This would be my second attempt at an outdoor grow.
At the time, it didn't occur that the leaves were changing to a lighter colour. I used generic organic potting soil, and thought that it would be enough for the plant.
The plant was looking sickly. I was restricted by a lack of cannabis growing knowledge.
I had no idea what the reason for the lighter colour in the leaves could be. I assumed it was because it was indoors.
Alright, so I went to my local 'growing' store and was talked into getting a 'living soil' that contained all the nutrients the plant needed.
The plant has been moved outside since it's the first time the warmth could be relied upon. Plant was transplanted into a 19 gallon pot (recommend by the sales clerk), which I later realized was unnecessary.
I knew at this point that the yellowing of the leaves was a result of a nitrogen deficiency.
I also choose to spray the leaves with Safer's Sulphur Dust Fungicide and Miticide. I used 15ml/l and sprayed it over and under the leaves. It left a powdery mildew, so I'll be using Neem oil in the future.
This has been a bit of a hard week on the girl. I did both high and low stress training (still learning). I also performed a defoliation to go with the new training.
The Cronk nutrients are making a huge difference in the plant. I look forward to the following weeks!
Wow, wow, wow; the Cronk nutrients have worked wonders on my girl. She is bigger and better than ever.
I am now using the Cronk recommended Intermediate 5 Part Nutrient System. I can't wait to use their Bud Booster!
She is looking beautiful! I can not talk enough about the Cronk nutrients, and how much it has made a difference.
I know that my inexperienced training resulted in a plant that looks almost alien in nature. I will definitely be training differently going forward.
The plant has grown exponentially since I left 4 days ago. I was a bit nervous about leaving the plant to someone else, but they did a great job!
The next week looks like it may be a challenge. The weather will dipping to about 10 degrees Celsius at night.
I did some high and low stress training; I was only intending to do low stress training, but I accidentally snapped a few.
It's definitely doing better than I thought it would. It's been cold lately. The sunlight hours are going down and i expect to see the flowering stage start shortly.
